This place was a disaster from the time we were walking in till we left. Two hostess girls completely lost. Walk up to the bar and there is 2 open seats. Perfect right?!? Nope. Red headed bartender is lost out of her mind. Dirty glasses everywhere, finally after 15 minutes of her looking around she asked for our drinks. Captain and coke please. It was the weakest I have ever had. Watched her pour it and I got maybe a half of shot. We were not only ones who noticed this either. Forgot our app (hush puppies) mind you not this was a new bartender, also made an extremely weak drink. Had to ask to order food which didn’t take too long, pound of shrimp was extremely small portion(13 shrimp?!?) I wouldn’t spend another penny at this place. I gave it a 2 star rating just because i did get waited on at some point. Management needs to help this place badly. Edit: wow. That response was very nice and makes me want to give this place another shot! I’ll be in touch next year. Thanks!

Th reason for a three star review is the deviled crab had very little if any crab. It was mostly stuffing and bell peppers. Very disappointed. The other reason for three stars is my friend liked the shrimp. If it wasn’t for that I’d give less stars.

Took my mom on a surprise day trip to the beach & we checked this place out. Not only was it in an awesome location, the food was great! The crab dip is delicious. The stairs require negotiation after a few Bahama Mamas. Lol

This restaurant was recommended from someone back home in Morganton, NC. Glad we went the hushpuppies were very fresh and the entrees we order was very good. Pricey but you get lots of food. We got there right at 5pm when they opened was seated quickly. Our server was on top of things didn't have to wait long for anything. Will go back in the future.

Thank you for asking, and we hope you are staying healthy and warm this winter season. Currently Crabby Oddwaters Restaurant & Bar is closed for dine-in; however remain open Thursday through Sunday for carryout (through Bill's Seafood Market on the lower level of our building) and delivery within a seven mile radius of our location. All staff are required to wear masks and wash hands routinely, and we rigorously clean and sanitize our surfaces regularly. Once a month we fog our establishment with an organic sanitizer (used in hospitals for the same purpose) as a preventative measure against the SARS-Co-V2 "coronavirus" which causes Covid-19. The germicidal properties in the sanitizer have been proven effective in killing the virus on surfaces for up to one month. Upon reopening the dining room we will adhere to the Governor's directives regarding seating spacing and capacity while adhering to our same standards described above.
We are planning to close after Thanksgiving except for parties and catered events; reopen for the week of Christmas through our New Year’s Eve party; then close again except for parties from January 2nd through late March (Easter weekend will kick off the 2021 season). This is subject to change, but that is the schedule currently. Thank you for your inquiry, and we hope to have you with us soon. All the best, Tim
Absolutely, Meg, and thank you so much for your inquiry. Right now the only way to do so is in person or by calling ahead to pick up the gift certificate in person. For the spring we are looking to transition to a true gift card - more plastic! - and hopefully add the ability to purchase online from our site or via online ordering. All the best, Tim
I dont think so. And the stairs are narrow so carrying would be hard
