Relaxing way to spend an hour. Friday at noon and my party of four had the whole place to ourselves. Educational and informative first part on the vast number of telescopes in Chile. Then a great presentation of a local perspective on stars and constellations that you could see that night. The view from the beach is even better without all the light "noise".

I went to Stranger Things light show and it was wonderful. Plan to go to other shows.

It was a good show. However, it is very small and the seats are not large enough to accommodate all guests.

The entire purpose of a planetarium is to provide the public with a quality planetarium experience. Much to our disappointment, a quality experience is not what we encountered. The gentleman who hosts the show is absolutely delightful. He is a wealth of information and so very pleasant. Unfortunately, everything else was surprisingly bad. It has great potential, but in desperate need of an update. By desperate I mean—the show was blurry to say the least, sound quality poor, and film seemed to be outdated by at least 15 years. The “science room” was less than impressive. As a family of seven ranging all ages, nothing captivated our attention. For the amount they charge I would expect much more. $10 per person per show leaves you regretful. I share our experience to spare another family the expense. It’s really too bad. We would have gladly bought a membership if the show quality was better. I can’t imagine the staff are oblivious to this reality. Please save the apology to my review and go by a better projector. It should be this facilities absolute top priority.

Last week I went to two shows , the first at 1pm the second at 8pm, both cost the same (round about $9 if I remember correctly) though there are other pricing tiers for children and seniors.
There are restaurants nearby that you could drive to, but no cafe on site.
