Came across a Blue Heron struggling with some wing issues and had no idea who to call. Google led me to Seaside Wild Bird Rescue, who quickly got this beautiful bird the help he needed. So thankful for an organization like Seaside that’s willing to help these beautiful creatures!

It is nice to have someone take care of an injured bird. We noticed a pelican on the beach that seemed to be in distress. We called Seaside on Friday evening to ask if they could help. Well they did, showed up and rescued the bird. They even took the time to call us and let’s us know about the pelican. Fish hook and line, common in these areas. Well the bird is fine and has been released into the wild. Thank you Seaside for what you do. Great job!

Quick to respond! Caring, knowledgeable, and gentle. You can tell Bill cares about birds. After the rescue, he called me back and said he thinks the bird is OK to release tomorrow so we’re going to meet him to see that. I wasn’t expecting that, just added to our already awesome experience. So happy we were able to help save this pelican, thanks to Bill!

Absolutely awesome. This morning my wife and I found an injured loon on St. Pete Beach, FL. Felt helpless until after several referrals from veterinary clinics were put in touch with the Seaside Wild Bird Rescue. They picked up the loon and even text a picture of the injured bird loaded in their vehicle. Will sleep well tonight knowing the loon is being cared for. Great job and thank you.
