Had a squirrel emergency and was able to reach them right away. They sent someone out in a timely manner and she even texted me the following day to me let me know how the little guy was doing. Highly recommend!!

Not a clean place. Most of the birds there seemed stressed. A lot of them kept flying into the sides of the enclosures. The bald eagle seemed under weight. While I was there the owner returned with a trailer full of vegetables in which most of them went into the volunteers vehicles. In my experience birds of prey don't eat vegetables. So whoever is donating large amounts of vegetables to this sanctuary, it's actually going to the volunteers not to the animals. The 2 or 3 gopher tortoises they have definitely are not able to eat a trailer full of vegetables before they rot. In my opinion they should be donating to a food bank or homeless shelter instead of this "rescue".
