We found a small prairie dog. Most places we called just wanted to "dispose" of it for us. This place really cares about animals & willingly took her. I would bring any animal that needs help here.

Contacted them because I found an injured Red Shoulder Hawk in my backyard. I had no clue who to call or how to take care of him . A friend said to call Justin Matthew's and I spoke with him and he told me I've done all I can by bringing him inside to protect him. Call him in the morning. When I called he said too far to travel and gave me the number for wildlife center of Venice. I'm so glad he did. When I arrived, they promptly came for him. Came back to my car to say it appears he suffered head trauma and they administered pain meds for him. I've been praying he made it. Scared to call cause maybe he didn't. I would love to think I saved him. That was the whole purpose of bringing him inside. He wasn't able to protect himself. Gorgeous Bird. I pray he made it in your caring Hands! Thank you for being there for our wildlife ❤

Our dog had gotten into a rabbit nest and got one of the babies. Fortunately we saw it and rescued the 3 or 4 day old bunny. We had no way to feed it so we took it to the Wildlife Center. They said they would find a foster home to care for it until she was strong enough to go back into the wild. They are kind and caring.

My brother, who is disabled, loves to volunteer here. He get to help with feeding a variety of animals that these genuinely decent people take in, rehabilitate and if possible, release back in to the wild. They have everything from Racoons, birds of every variety you can think of, turtles and so much more. They are constantly expanding to accommodate all the animals that they can take in. Jack Hanna was stopped by a fee weeks ago, apparently very impressed with the work and passion the volunteers have in helping these animals survive and be reintroduced into the wild. They are very kind and in my opinion, deserve a lot of help. If you want to donate to help animals and know it WILL be used effectively, unlike many you see on TV ads, donate to them. Very impressed and pleased people like this still exist.

Suggest contacting Birds of Paradise Sanctuary & Rescue in Bradenton as they specialize in parrots.
I can not remember there names but met in person and just wonderful and dedicated people. Try calling there and asking any questions. Have a fantastic day.
Opossums eat ticks and their body temperature is too low to house the rabies virus. They are no danger to your dog as long as the dog does not bother them. Anything with a mouth can bite, so be aware of that.
Try calling them up.
Pretty sure volunteer only.
The pig went to Sarasota Animal services who is trying to place with a rescue
Ok. I will watch for him.

Just wait. When they reopen you will be amazed.
Yes! They take donations instead of charging a fee. It's not very big, but totally worth it! I enjoyed it very much. The animals there are beautiful and they are doing an amazing thing for our creatures.
