Mostly happy with the sales (Roxie) and delivery/orientation (John) process, as well as the financial part (low pressure). I felt some of the fees they wouldn't budge on were high but after a horrible experience at another dealership I just wanted to be done and not haggle anymore. Only major concern and disappointment is a missed screw in a tire and loose valve extenders that caused a flat tire and the TPMS to go bonkers. Read my review for RV One as it relates to this matter. So General, you have someone in your midst working with others to sabotage your customers. And shame on your KYC service department for not catching these issues even when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED they check ALL tires. I expect your sales manager to honor the promise to pay for a new tire if needed (and it will be, plugs aren't forever).

We loved her experience with General RV in general. Nicole was the best sales person lady. Thank you for taking our very last picture right before we went home that night. She stayed with us throughout the process and was there to answer any questions that would come up with. Even after hours. Maria was also very helpful. The day of the purchase she stayed until the end of the day to make sure we were good to go. Matt Peters in finance also did a great job. The gentleman that showed us everything inside the RV. I’m sorry I can’t remember your name but we really appreciate you. We appreciate you helping us with the list of things needed at the end of the day of the purchase. The whole team was amazing. Think twice before buying anything from GENERAL RV, On April 8, 2022 my husband and I bought a First time tracer brand new RV from General Rv at Tampa Florida, Nicole A was our sales person on this purchase, we told her that We didn’t want to pay more than $400, she told us that if they couldn't put us on $400 monthly then hey would give me back our 3K down payment. Next day the finances manager called Victor, he called us and told us that he couldn’t get us at $400 but he got us at $550 and that they could not go any more lower than that, my husband told him immediately that we not buying the Rv and we wanted the refund of the money, Victor asked my husband for our card information to do the refund, when they had a copy of our card which Nicole processed herself, my husband tried to contact Victor back several times to give him our card information in order to us to get the refund, and he never picked the phone, all the Victor wanted was to buy more time to FORCE us to buy the Rv that we had already said NO. he never picked up the call until he told us he was down to $400 monthly so we had to buy the Rv or they would keep our $3k DOWN PAYMENT. due to all the pressure they put on us, we ended up buying the Rv, the final monthly payment was $359,05 we agreed to buy GAP which was worth $1500, so the price per month went up to $405.59 the numbers don't match. When we went to look at the Rv before pulling it out from the lot they wanted to sell us the RV with a lot of damage, dents, we informed them of the imperfections that we could noticed at the moment since it was dark and due all the rush they put on us, it was hard to noticed all of damage this RV has. When we got home and hooked up the RV, we noticed the worst part, this RV was sold as BRAND NEW and it has many very visible poor finishes, dents and missing parts, and this BRAND-NEW RV IT'S LEAKING. for which we are not satisfied with our purchase. We tried to contact Nicole or Victor, we even sent them pictures proof, I called many times to the store they put me on hold and then hang up phone.they did not want to respond to our complaint. Something is not right about this company currently contact with an attorney who deals with dealership fraud. Here some pictures

This is the 3rd RV we have bought at General RV. To see how they have grown I was a little worried they have lost the personal touch that we are use too. I will say they did not lose the customer service. We were treated excellent by Salesman Bryan, finance Matthew. When we were there to pick up our fifth wheel Maria greeted with a warm welcoming. She kept us informed throughout the process. There was a little hick up with the fifth wheel which was fixed. We were there a long time and while we were there I noticed 2 cleaning ladies Shelby and Hailey. They never stopped working. I was very impressed. Every time they walked by they always gave us a nice warm smile. The place was immaculate. I think every time someone went in the bathroom they went in after them and cleaned up. I want to make sure all of the employees we had contact with was recognized for their hard work and exceptional work ethic. THANK YOU Joni and Joe

I couldn’t agree more. Definitely a one time customer. We have the same problem. Unable to get parts in time frame told to bring it back after trip. We did. Now told no warranty. Extended warranty no good. Won’t cover problems. We also plan to upgrade but not at General RV or a Thor product Need a bumper sticker “Ouch I was bought at General RV “

We traded in a motorhome in on March 7 and are still waiting for the registration in Iowa. We have bought other motorhomes in other states and when we returned to Iowa we paid the tax and registration fees. But they said no they couldn't do it that way. Big mistake buying at General. They never checked out the motorhome we bought at all. So on our way home we stopped in RedBay Alabama and had the factory service fix what needed fixed on our 2018 Tiffin. We also told the owner of Tiffin how bad their service was and not to give them anymore Tiffin dealerships. And we are still waiting on our registration! Don't buy here!!
I agree!! Went to General RV in TAMPA for 2nd TT, hoping it would be better than Camping World. Definitely worse!! Have had TT for not even a year and still fighting for proper warranty repairs!!

Not in my case. I asked several employees if the tires had been checked for proper air pressure. Every response was it goes through our service department and everything is function tested. I think checking tires is part of a system. No tire had more than 38lbs. of air pressure. Actually blew one within 30 miles. While unit was up having tire changed I shook the wheels and found 1 bad wheel bearing and all others were excessively loose.They had the unit plugged in with the refrigerator running on 110v, when I got to my primitive camp site, it did not work on propane. They assured me the furnace worked but it was to hot to check. Granted it was a used unit, but I asked to make sure it was road/camp worthy before I picked it up. They assured me it was. I went back to the store and tried talking to a manager, he told me once I left the lot it no longer concerned them. How much concern would they have if the wheel with the bad bearing came off and went through someone's windshield.

yes we buy used RVs and motorhomes you can call and ask for a sales manager they should be able to help you.

Actually Wixom MI is the original location and where the Corp. Office is and where the owner still lives. Dover or Tampa, as many call it, is just 1 of 13 locations...
Each situation is different but on average, you can expect to hear back from someone within a week.
Would think they have a few managers, repairs, sales, merchandise ect for each department. Ask for the manager in the department you've a issue if that person can't help ask to speak with their boss. Rinse, repeat eventually the buck will stop.
Not sure but after reading all the reviews about service here I would shop somewhere else.
