If you're looking for a place with a lot of activities and not a lot of substance, this is your church. There's always something going on and there are a lot of good people, but recent changes in leadership have sent First Baptist Dover to follow more worldly positions instead of biblical teaching. I would also recommend another church if you have sin in your past as this one no longer follows the great commission to redeem and restore sinners to right relationship with God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

So blessed by this church family. The ministers are not only loving and Godly, but have such a heart for missions. Such a friendly church family! Love that we have prayer over our needs as well as celebrate the joys together.

This is the best church in Eastern Hillsborough County. If you want TRUE bible based preaching of the word, Amazing music with incredibly talented musicians, an amazing children's program for Sunday school,children's church and an incredible children's choir program, a dynamic motorcycle ministry and the list goes on....then this is the church you would love. All I can say is I can't wait to go each time of the week the doors open. God is here. Come join us.
