When it comes to Peruvian food, there's plenty in South Florida but one of my favorites is Dr Limon. I have been to the Hallandale location, so I expected the same service and outstanding food. We started with the Tostones De Langostino. Wow. These were very good. Nice crunch from the tostones and fresh lobster. Also tried the Chica Morada Pisco cocktail. It was refreshing and not watered down. For the main course, we shared the Risotto De Filete Pargo Y Camaron. OMG. The risotto was like butta, perfect texture and the fried fish was nice and crispy. But the real star of the show is the Eisha Beach Ceviche. Good lawd! This dish was more than enough for 2. Super fresh seafood swimming in a delectable leche de tigre broth served in this huge martini glass. Such an impressive dish! We had a great experience here. It's a little far from my home but worth the drive. Plenty of free parking. The restaurant is modern, the service is great and the food was exceptional.

Disappointed. The service was good. But the fish we ordered wasn’t what we expected. Dry, overcooked fish for the primavera and the red snapper special of the day. The fish for these two plates, was so dry and tasteless, as if from frozen store bought low quality type fish.
