Each situation is different but on average, you can expect to hear back from someone within a week.
I never got an answer after waiting a week with no contact after having paid cash down payment, finally after not getting an answer one way or another on the loan I requested my cash down payment to be returned and was told they can't and I would have to call this person and email that person. At this point I had waited nearly two weeks for a loan decision and another two weeks if run around. Was then threatened by the Loan manager that he didn't have to give back my money if he didn't want to. This was less than a year ago and I finally have the time to buy my RV and seen their Ad and thought I'd stop in and read the comments, they sound about right.
I don't know what the average time frame is to receive a final approval. However, you can get a tentative approval and make deposit right away, contingent on exploration of more definitive financing options and final execution of the loan. To me, buying an RV is similar to purchasing a house. There is voluminous paperwork but it is all good for your protection and well being. A week or less is probably a realistic expectation before closing on the loan.
