I couldn’t agree more. Definitely a one time customer. We have the same problem. Unable to get parts in time frame told to bring it back after trip. We did. Now told no warranty. Extended warranty no good. Won’t cover problems. We also plan to upgrade but not at General RV or a Thor product Need a bumper sticker “Ouch I was bought at General RV “
You think camping world is bad this general rv is worse!! Bought camper here new 2017 nothing but trouble from day 1. Slides leaked an 10 other problems now we can swim in our bedroom! Do they care no, they get your money and its see ya, not our problem. You retire and these people take everything and now we have a money pit. We cant even trade we will be upside down. Im on disability, my husband had to retire because of health issues and we get kicked while we are down. They talk the talk we fell for it and we got took. Now it takes everything we got. I hope you people are enjoying the hell we have been through since nov 2017 because we are not.
Before buying from General RV. First ask several different people who have purchased a trailer from General RV about their service. If you don't mind waiting two months for service General RV is you kind of place.
General RV has horrible customer service. I will not go into the details here but I would suggest you never let them touch your RV. It will come back incomplete or in worse condition. When they say they will “fix it” or “clean it” don’t count on it. It will be more F’ed.

Absolutely worst SERVICE EVER bought a 2021 in 2020 and absolutely NOTHING has been fixed on our list and we are in 2022. I can't even get a screen for a window that has been missing since we purchased. They will lie,cheat and steal their way to get to your sale and the minute they do they push you out and tell you they will get everything on your list completed THEY DON'T. As a matter of fact they wont remember you and the excuse is they are just so busy ripping other customers off they don't have time for you anymore.... remember when they did have the time for you when you were buying?? YEP GONE I can literally document over 100 calls to service that have gone unanswered and emails to the Service Manager DAVE CARLSON who will also promise to get everything done (May of 2021) and YEP again NOTHING. Not sure how this continued FRAUD is legal. Fraud by definition wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain. Well folks we have all been deceived
I had read good reviews on this RV place and now found these? We were at lazy days looking to buy a class c and it was horrible. Took us on a golf cart and left us there because the salesman originally contacted was with customer and asked another...it was ridiculous....just told us to look and call him back if we wanted a price because of course there were no prices so it was impossible to know which ones in our price range should be looked at! It was very hot yesterday afternoon and my husband is still fairly young and were not retirees but he has a problem with a previous injury of a torn Achilles tendon and couldn't walk over a mile back to our car//we kept calling...called Lazy Days main call center and it was after 5 pm their closing time!!!! I came close to unhooking electric and driving one of them to front door!!!!! That ridiculous young man wouldn't even get us prices or answer phone and security never came.....If LAZY DAYS is that bad & haven't even bought one!!!!
I am sorry to see myself interested in this company. the worst buying experience I've ever had, poor communication of the financing application process
