If you paid cash, it's going to be a little bit more challenging to prove. But regardless of how you paid, the DMV associates always provide you with a receipt of your transaction. That receipt might also be a temporary ID until the original is delivered. So I would reccomend that you check your documents and or copy of any documents returned to you. Or if your time and efforts are worth more than 25 bucks?? Pay again and let it be a learning experience. 🤔

Hi, I don't believe that's part of the request they ask for a RealID. I had to download my birth certificate and 3 other items. Fyi, if you download your B.C. through your computer and it's over the 2MB, then downloaded through your phone. They do have a categories of different forms you can use to get your REALID.

After you fill out the application you will get a code write it down or print it and take it with you when go to the dmv. If you are 1st in line they'll let you in, but if there are already alot of people waiting they'll give you an appointment ticket to come back in 2 hours or so. So try to get there *really* early if possible. While you're waiting an dmv employee will ask you for the reason for your visit and of you filled out a dmv application give them the code and they'll handle the rest.

It takes time to actually be able to walk in. It's a process, but you can get in that line during their regular business hours.

I wasn't able to make an appointment on the phone or online. But if you show up early in person, as soon as the office opens, they come down the line handing out same day appointments. Their process is very efficient. Once you are actually there for your appointment, even with the limited capacity protocol, it goes fairly quickly and smooth.

I honestly think that the DMV would be a better choice for taking care of paperwork like that.

When you get there, they give you a paper that tells you a time to come back. When you come back, it doesn't take very long at all. Took less than an hour start to finish for my friend. Keep the piece of paper the give you, you'll need it when you come back.

Yes you can! That's what I went for. I took my friend to take it last week and today. But remember, if you don't have an appointment, when you go they'll give to a paper with a time to come back. We went at 9am and got a paper to come back at noon. So just be prepared. And you don't have to go at 5:30am if you don't mind just coming back later in the day. Just saying.

You can go there, show them your current or expired ID and tell them you want to find out about tickets. They can give you that information and you might not have to wait to get that info. They have people outside who ask the reason for your visit right when you get there.

Get there around 5:30am and they open at 8 I'm not sure for ID but i was out of there within an hour for a car tittle change. On Wednesday they open at 9

BtW ..i when on a friday around 5:30am in the morning and there was already 45 people onnline..they hand out entrance voucher/paper with numbers on them around 7- 7:20...point being , get there early

I called the call center for the DMV, but they advised Me there's no appointments until Sept. @ the very latest. So I stood in line for 3 hours, it definitely was the best idea because no appt. and the lines are long @ every DMV it's ashamed, but good luck.

To get real I'd you need a valid unexpired passport and two proof of residency such as utility bill with your name and address on it or car registration..you can use a birth certificate instead of passport too.or a u.s naturalization certificate.or a born abroad as u.s. citizen certificate.

The only thing you can not do without an appointment is the behind the wheel testing portion of the application. But the written tests can be done on a walk in basis.
