One of the most beautiful, peaceful, and scenic places in San Francisco. Absolutely awe struck. Great place for photos of any kind. The pictures I took don’t do this place justice. Please go and check this attraction out. We went early in the morning following breakfast which worked out perfectly for us. ❤️

The best place to take pics. I enjoyed everyone. Parking was easy to find. Bathroom inside were clean. I could’ve spent all day there. Family friendly. Some ppl were in the middle of a photo shoots. Very nice a must see so make sure you put this on your agenda you will be pleased.

Such a gorgeous park and structure. There was so much detail put into the art of this structure. The surrounding lake and park add to the beauty. Definitely would love to go back and have a picnic there. We saw a couple different wedding parties taking pictures there, can definitely see why. It's gorgeous all around. We didn't go in. We parked in the neighborhood, there was free parking but didn't see an actual parking lot.

And that's this is why you shouldn't leave stuff in your vehicle. No matter where you go there are people looking around in cars free stuff that they can take so FYI put everything in your trunk so don't tell people not to park there because of your friends are Associates were being irresponsible
One of the astronomical societies of San Francisco has met here a number of times while the Exploritorium was still located next door, but I don't know of recent meetings there. Not the darkest location even in the neighborhood.
It has hours of operation but people mainly walk and sit around the grounds to enjoy the views.
The exploratorium moved to near pier 39
It's open air. They have a building but it's not necessary for a good trip & normally hosts different events now that the exploatorium has moved locations.
Yes , during the weekdays would be great . I have seen wedding photo shoot taken in place of fine arts
Probably they are not allowed in the Palace itself but there were lots of dogs in the gardens around the lake
Noooo it is paid if you do it outside if you want inside the building you have to investigate with the city of san francisco
Yes I believe it’s open always. There is no gate or anything and parking will not be a problem before 9am on the roads nearby
Yes
Never leave your values inside your car.
Yes
It is open to all. Many people take wedding pictures. No cost.
Yes
Free to tour. There is a theatre and an event center that require tickets. The nearest public restrooms are across the street at a public park on the bay.
Yes, it is open before 10am. There is no gate, no admission. Hope this helps.
If you are asking if there are food and beverage vendors then the answer is no. But you can bring some and have a little picnic there with friends or family :]
5 am till midnight i believe for the outside
The Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina District of San Francisco, California, is a monumental structure originally constructed for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition in order to exhibit works of art presented there. One of only a few surviving structures from the Exposition, it is still situated on its original site. It was rebuilt in 1965, and renovation of the lagoon, walkways, and a seismic retrofit were completed in early 2009.
There is no entry fee to the palace area. Ticket prices to the theater programs; vary as per the organizers of the events. We had recently attended at the theater, for a sankeertan concert by sri krshnaDas.
You cannot use the public space to party. It's free but partying is something that doesn't happen.
No permits needed
I am not finding any info anywhere on this question... But taking an educated guess I would say it can't been deeper than 3 feet max... Thats taking into account its location and safety for the neighborhood that surrounds it as well...
Hi! There is a lot of steeet parking spaces on adjacent streets. On Sundays parking is free on some places.
I think it's open 24 hours
Yes, we saw 2 windows in 2 separate vehicles shattered, they were parked in back of the palace. I found it better to park on the street in front of the lake/water area, there's a lot of people around, not like in back of the Palace, not a lot of people there.
You have to get your own place
The grounds are open
THE VENUE AT PALACE OF FINE ARTS IS OPEN TUESDAY – SUNDAY FROM 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (CLOSED ON MONDAYS AND FOR SPECIAL EVENTS)
You can always look around the dorm and garden. They are open for public 24/7
No parking garage but ample free event parking across the street on the North side of the venue. Beautiful location with views of the Bay, GG Bridge and Alcatraz.
It's more of a park with beautiful architecture.
There are no elevator it's a park, and it's flat
yes
There is a bit of free street parking adjacent to the building and there is a pay lot with lighting adjacent to that. Both are as safe as any parking so don't leave anything of value in your car, and try to walk with others.
Ive seen a dog inside the theater before but I'd call and ask customer service
Don't think so. But I would ask just to be sure.
No I couldn't see any but as this place is in city itself .areas around have eating options so don't worry
It's free here. Think of it as a lake.^^ a beautiful place I want to live there.
Everything is beautiful
My personal favorite would be to go there an hour before sunset and stay there until a little past sunset. It's beautiful when it's bright out and it also has a different beauty or charm when it's dark out and the palace's lights are lit up
Contact SF Park and Recreation parks department. I have seen many wedding photos taken here, but do not recall seeing the ceremony. You can get windy after 12 noon so photos are better taken in the morning.
They are the Weeping Maidens, praying for men off fighting in war.
Better to allot time for parking, do not miss it! Is an amazing place
No cost at all. It's open all the time because I went there around 1:00 AM
There is no admission to the Palace of Fine Arts. It is free
It was the venue for exhibiting works of art during the 1915 Panama–Pacific International Exposition and for a time after.
I see a few people with dogs, but not many. There are a few grassy areas. Most of it is paved. I'd say it's not dog unfriendly.
I don't believe there are tours of the theater itself. But there are plenty of public events at the theater.
