My personal favorite would be to go there an hour before sunset and stay there until a little past sunset. It's beautiful when it's bright out and it also has a different beauty or charm when it's dark out and the palace's lights are lit up
We went in the morning and stayed for a bit. The sun coming through it was fascinating. It would be interesting to determine if there is lighting at night.
