The On-site staff is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is very diligent and the staff makes sure they are working together to make everything work. I can say I’m grateful to live in a community that cares.

I WOULD NOT recommend moving here. This apartment complex lacked making sure the apartment was safe, cleaned, and the appliances work before moving us in. There was balls of hair all over the floor, the carpets were dirty and had dog hair/ women’s hair all over (I had to personally vacuum and shampoo carpets- which the water was dark gray), the secondary bathroom’s bathtub has rust inside and I have YET to use it. The dryer didn’t work and the laundry room closet door fell off it’s track and almost hit my 3 year old son in the head- THANK GOD the other door blocked the fall. The front doors extra lock latch was coming unhinged and the back screen door wasn’t attached. Not to mention our light in the dining area was out and the sink in the kitchen doesn’t drain well.

I’m very happy that I found this community. Columbia has a LOT of different apartment options, and this one was perfect for me. I spent about a month+ trying to find something close to downtown Columbia, the mall, restaurants, etc., but not too close that I’d have to deal with the daily traffic congestion and noise that goes along with that. I also wanted nearby highway access as I work in the City and wanted to be able to jump on the highway easily in the morning. I wanted a pretty, relaxing, peaceful neighborhood, that felt like home. Alister Town Center checked all boxes. Settling in was easy, the office staff is great, and maintenance is the best I’ve seen, and I’ve lived in a lot of apartments! Daniel particularly is amazing, so super nice, accommodating, always available (and happy!) to help, very patient, and he never seems annoyed or rude which I have experienced in the past, as if they hate their jobs. Daniel truly seems to love what he does, and he seems to love helping people. Knowing that Dan is around to take care of things makes an already great community, even better. Overall I recommend this community 5 out of 5 stars, if you are looking in Columbia, put this on your list of places to tour!

We have had some great experiences living here but the people managing this place seem to employ an almost gross negligence style of leadership. There has been threats towards tenants and the management have stated we are responsible for ensuring our own safety, leaving us exposed to retaliation from the knife-wielding individual expose to bouts of anger if we contact law enforcement. Constant harassment from neighbors for the past 3 months. Our "renovated" unit was unfinished and we had no A/C or Heat which took them 9 days to fix the heat. It is a nightmare to live here. This complex has a great location, But there is about 4 other apartments complexes right next to it with different management teams that you could rent from. If you care about your safety, your health, paying for a renovated unit and actually receiving service that you pay for while you live in an apartment complex do not live here.
