Lived here for 2 years and it was great, until the interior and exterior of the apartment started to reveal poor installation of hardware and carpeting. It's my understanding they have more renovated units now however. Definitely get a renovated one if possible! I also find it annoying that they painted the exterior a nice fresh color but did not come back and do the finer details so as you get closer it looks terrible as spots are missing and lines are not straight. Additionally, within the past month, communication with the front office has been extremely poor both via phone call and email. The same goes for reaching maintenance- it's virtually impossible. I'm not sure what happened because they used to be super responsive. Possibly new management in the office? Disappointing for sure considering my experience had been a 4/5 here, but poor communication and poor quality knocks that down some.

4.5 stars Overall a good place to live: - My price per square footage is cheaper than my previous complex and I have more space - Great access to trails and open areas to take my dog - The maintenance team (S/O to Brendon, Clinton, and Lamar) is great and communicative; I always ask that they let me know when they're coming so I can kennel my dog and they've been accomodating. - The manager, Kalisa, is a superstar. Any time I have questions or concerns, she is prompt and provides a satisfactory answer. Any time I've brought an issue to her, it's been addressed, and I hope that upper management recognizes her hard work. On a ground floor apartment, I did deal with ants and mice but when I let them know about the issue they worked hard to get rid of the problem, and I haven't seen any since. The only thing I can say at Eagle Rock is that the staff is very busy and could probably use more people, but that's an issue that's been everywhere lately, so I can't fault the complex for that, and it really shows how hard they work. I hope corporate gives them the resources they need to continue making this a good place to live. (Read: issues are not due to onsite folks; the onsite management and maintenance are very receptive to feedback) This has felt like a community I can come home to, a good number of other pet owners

I had a horrible experiance applying for n apartment to rent. 1st: There was some confusion with the application, and the first apartment that we were going to apply for was rented.. even though the confusion was not our fault and they knew we were trying to apply. The did find us a second place. After 4 days clearing up the confusion with the application, they asked me to get a money order for the application fee. The next morning, I arrived with the money order and I was told "The place is no longer available. It is being renovated". The price was 200 dollars more. If they had any decency, since they wasted so much of my time, they should have offered it at the price quoted. The poor management here wasted a week of my time and two other places I could have rented are now gone. I have to start over. This is poor business ethics. I am out 25 dollars on a money order I can't return, I now have to start looking for another place to rent, with almost zero time to find one before I leave where I am currently.

Nice apartments in a great location near wooded areas with beautiful walking trails. No complaints about the apartment itself, but I do have a major complaint about management. I lived at Eagle Rock apartments (formerly Bell Columbia) for two years, and I moved out in June of 2021. It is now the end of November 2021. After weeks of emailing back and forth with the community manager, it was confirmed that my security deposit check and reimbursement for overpayment of rent (over $700 total) had been returned by the postal system to the corporate office for some unknown reason. They mailed me new checks but put the wrong name on both, so I couldn't deposit them. After more weeks of emailing back and forth I was told new checks with the correct name would be overnighted to me. That was over a week ago, and I still have not received my checks or any tracking info. Eagle Rock management took over the apartments in early 2021. Any reviews you read from 2020 and earlier are reviews of the previous management company, leasing agents, and maintenance - all of which no longer work there.
