Great location! Bathroom was like I walked into the 60's. Old shower with, not new, plastic curtains. Weird for a Marriot. Staff was nice. Terrible view, dark room. Card reader on the elevators are really bad, needs to be upgraded. Software of the TV is terrible, YouTube doesn't work, you can't control brightness etc. Internet worked fine!

Always a big fan of traveling to Chicago, great food, sights, and events. Hotel Chicago is a great place to stay for any of those events. Located in the Heart of Chicago right alongside the river and next to Mag Mile. Plan for an hour transit from the airport but that's typical for Chicago. The hotel itself is very accessible and easy to find, with a very interesting facade. Hotel itself has a decent size lobby, not huge but adequately sized for Chicago. Staff were professional and courteous, got into the room quickly. Lounge was open and had good selection of complimentary soft drinks and snacks, better than many other hotels. Rooms are very well sized, modern, and usually has a decent view. Sound isolation is great, and very easy to get a good night's rest. Bathroom is well appointed and comfortable. Wi-fi and services work great. Gym is in the basement - not my favorite but will get the job done.

Superb location, overall excellent staff. Interesting hotel with character, quirky (60's?) architecture and toilets you can hear flush from 2 rooms away. Uneven housekeeping and some variety in room quality from my limited experience. Cool [obstructed] river views through aforementioned architecturally interesting windows. Had a somewhat makeshift concierge lounge off the lobby for Bonvoy elite that was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. Front desk very helpful, sympathetic and kind in dealing with issues I encountered & price was great, all things considered

I really like they had a bar with some bar food for it was very cold out. Also hooked up with YOKE for Breakfast. The accommodations were good and the bedding very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The location was perfect for my needs and looking forward to staying there again come August. There is a grocery and luxury store located on the lower level with access from the Hotel.
