The dogs could use some blankets. It was chilly in there and there was a dog with a skin condition due to abuse who was just shivering laying on the floor. Idk if maybe it is a sanitary reason the dogs can't have blankets? The cats have them though. Maybe donations are needed. Plenty of great animals that need love though.

It’s been a little over a year now since we took Blue home. Our adoption experience went very well. When they had found him, his skin was in pretty bad condition but the shelter provided us with treatments to sooth his skin. The staff was very kind and helped a lot through the adoption process. In total I received medication for his skin, some of the kibble they have already been feeding him, access to the chip that was already inserted in him, all of his shots, and a best friend for such a small price. It is very clear that this shelter’s main goal isn’t money, but instead to get their animals adopted and off the streets. All together it only costed me $10 to take Blue home, but I wouldn’t give him up for all the money in the world now. I’m so thankful for everyone who helped me take him home to a safer and happier family.

Adopted our beautiful girl ellie there and it was such a great experience and every simple. They take very good care of the animals there, but boy was she glad to come home! It's been two years now and still nothing but love and snuggles!
Sue Dowdell
I have adopted 3 senior dogs from here. The staff was great, took the time to discuss the dogs I adopted and gave me pointers. Very pleased with this organization. Pepper and Pandy are doing fantastic. Getting some meat on their bones. Great dogs.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
Your too young but just in case you should call them. Best of luck. Don't ever lose that spark of love for animals, you sound amazing
I can adopt
On the Aspca website for orange county
Download the Neighborhood app. I see folks always looking for kittens to adopt
Not the way to find out if they're hiring. Go down and fill out an application and talk to somebody.
Too many. 😪 Save a life. Make a difference. You'll love your new 4 legged baby and they will love you unconditionally
We only spay and neuter the pets that are in our shelter and have been adopted. If you are wanting your own pet to be fixed we have a spay and neuter bus that goes out into the community on specific dates. Just call and we can provide that info for you.
I am not sure if they pick up pets, bu I DO KNOW they have an area where people can bring them for adoption because I saw it. And I know that because I was able to adopt a precious, friendly cat for my daughter as a pet companion!
i wanted the puppy please
They will definitely take in your dog.
Angel Mendez where are you located at I would be interested please
Check the website if walk ins available they usually have them up front when you walk in, animal services too...check the lobby or call ahead of time.
They have kittens & cats of all ages & they very more almost every day.
They might come and they might not! It's all opinions. My suggestion with for a cat and a dog animal rescue service.
As often as needed
2769 conroy rd orlando fl
Yes you can
When you go on their website they have promotions. It's $10 until the end of June. You do have to schedule an appointment to go view the animals.
Yes
I now on Sanford a place it's free looks on internet but probably have a could and that's is bad I am sorry don't remember the address good luck
This is not the place to come and do this you need to go in and get put on the list.
Stacy, Pet Alliance, across animal control, on Conroy Rd. Animal Control is also cheap. Thank you kindly for being a decent, generous.person
You will have to call them and confirm your approval
If they need spaying it can be a week after the adoption but they will let you know.
Yes...right now I am also feeding a couple of colonies. I was told that you can get a trap and then call Pet Alliance and they will pick them up, neuter/spay them and return them back to the site...but they charge a fee. If you need their trap (then it's $50 for use of the trap and that covers 5 days...and every day after the 5th day is extra). Good luck to you.
Hi, you can call the orange county animal service and hey will provide you the schedule and the cost for dogs and cats. You can verify about the ducks with the county. Rules are acording to the zonification of your area. Hope everything turns out good.
It was thank you im 15 and I love animals so i was just asking
It took us 3 days to be able to take our pet home after adoption but they tell you up to a week. Make sure that you pick your animal up within 2 days after they call you so they don't go back on the adoption floor.
For in-county residents, yes. However if you check other vets, there are several others that do w/o requirement
I do not believe they will allow that, but call and check
Yes 18 and up. Are required to go to a orientation and training class
Yes they take cats and dogs. Just call them to make sure they have room available before taking a blank trip.
My Answer would be exactly the same. They try to adoption first and this location is highly visited every day. There's a good chance they will find a home.
No appointment needed to surrender animals
I would say that's definitely a sign of either an injured or sick cat, I would bring the cat into a vet to get medical attention
I believe it's 6 - 8 weeks oldi also for them to be spayed or neutered and to have all their shots before they adopt them out to their forever homes. They're also checked for fatal illnesses like feline leukemia and communicable ones too to protect the pet population in general.
Call the police. And call animal control.
I believe they do, however, if I may add, the OBT Pet Doc offers them at hugely low prices. For instance, I get my pups their rabies shots for $5., and THAT includes a mandatory dewormer. Cant beat it. I hope this helps! 😀
Yes, i have adopted a dog before here and i recived a toy, a bag of food, some gift and a few 2 or 3 other things.
To Foster, you would be doing it under a Rescue Group. A Rescue covers expenses. The previous answer was in reference to adopting.
Yes
@Rochell how old is the puppy and where are you located and what type of puppy
Food yes I'm sure they would accept but used toys I'm not sure. It's Best to call them.
It's been my experience that they release during the week as the weekends can get pretty busy with adoptions. I have 3 animals from there and they were all sent home during the week.
Yes , once you check in, you are able to go see the dogs or cats but I suggest you don't try to touch them unless instructed by someone who works there.
Im not sure but give them a call they will give more information. Thank for contacting me.
I do not know, call them they are always looking for volunteers.
If you still have them and live in Orange County you can make an appointment to surrender them. It's $15 per animal and they would relocate them to Fallin' Pines. Or, you could just call Fallin' Pines Critter Rescue in Christmas, FL and make an appt with Shirley, the owner, she's very nice.
Hi Stephanie. Ask friends around. You can slso post on your neighborhood website like the Nextdoor. Im sure you will be able to find a passionate new family for them 😍
Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando provides these services for a discount. Check their web site for latest prices.
Take the kitty to the Pet rescue on Conroy. Going towards Millennia Mall. It's close to you.
I think they only receive pets there, but you can call and find out
Good evening, I want to adopt a cat
I went last week and they had a special for 10 dollars. I believe their usual price is $40.
When I went there were only cats and dogs, but you can call and ask, maybe someone will deliver one if they can't have it.
They usually adopt pretty quick there..best bet is to go in person🤘🏾💥💚🏆
They only vaccinate the animals they have for adoption, and it is included in the adoption fee with the chip, but at the veterinary offices you can ask, I take my puppy to Mayfair Pet Hospital, it cost me $ 50 for annual vaccinations.
They are open 1-5pm Sunday
They would be taken to the shelter. But they do have a limited time there. They try to see if there is a microchip, if not they put it up for adoption
Nop not yet
Yes its the place! You can also dial 311 on your cell.
No give it cat food, bananas are not for cat's along with some water.
I think they are $30 BOGO they usually good in pairs💖💖💖till the end of March
Yes that's correct you can't adopt that pet anymore. Something they keep pets already have a home picked out till they're healthy enough or until they get spaded or neutered.
I'm sorry 2hear that...but I think u just go to the shelter n drop ur pet off
Well my recommendation is to go in every day and if you can make an appointment 2 or 3 times a week because the dogs adopt them quickly, the adoption has a cost and they only ask for your ID nothing more
They have all the services, but sometimes some are not available
You should try calling them if you would like to volunteer. Or see if there website has information on volunteering. Don't think they check this page enough to see your post.
Call them direct and ask a professional. Better safe than sorry.
Yes they do at animal control. And it's cheaper services as well.
If they have space, yes.
You can call and also check the website at www.ocnetpets.com. it is still highly recommended to visit the shelter in person
You won't be able contact someone at the animal shelter unless you leave a message. Keep trying online for the appts., maybe there will be a cancelation. It took me over a week before I was able to get an appt.
Registered? For what a city licence? That would be at town hall in your city. Orlando doesn't have licences for your pets all you need is a current rabies vaccine
She will be treated nicely at the shelter. However, there are a lot of animals in need there.
What's the sleepover program?
I am sorry your dog is lost. I would go to ocnetpets.com this is Orange County Florida Animal Services website. On the menu you will see a lost and found section. I would click on that and register there. I would also click on the 'about us' link on their menu and leave a message for them directly using the 'contact us' link with any info you have and they usually get back to you pretty quickly. Good luck
I would stop in and check. They are very helpful
You have to call Animal Control and make an appointment
Or you can get your pet ESA certified by going to expresspetcertify.com you fill out some questions about your mental health and a licensed therapist will go over your results and let you know if you qualify for an emotional support animal its $100 but you get a letter to give to your landlord you can take them on a plane and at a hotel and you won't need to pay pet rent or pet security deposit much better way then surrendering your dog
They have specials....check the website....mist likely $10
Go to their website.....Orange county animal services
They have random dogs and its never have the same dogs. Small dogs go first especially the young ones.
All of the appointment slots filled up the day they reopened. If you keep checking back you may find a new opening.
I would say to contact them. They will let you know.
They take in strays and owner turn-ins. It's not easy to get a specific breed. Your best chance is to keep checking their web site and go in if you see one you like.
Yes. When you go up there, park near the OCAS building. Look to the right, next to the normal entrance and they have opened a side entrance.
you have to go online to set up a appointment for them to take it. is a $15 fee. also must be good with other dogs, they are double up in cages.
This month is 10 dolar cat o dog i adopt the last week 1 cat AMD 4 years ago one dog
The cost is usually $55 or less, senior animals are usually free and they are always running specials.
Hi you have to go online to make an appointment to go inside to see the animal no one gets in without it
Bring it to pet alliance located right nxt door
I don't think Orange County Animal Services will do anything unless the dog actually attacked your dog.
Call and ask because they constantly have specials throughout the year! Pet Alliance offers free neutering off and on, too.
When I got the cats they had all their shots and neutered etc
Drop off at Pet Alliance across the parking lot of the animal control. Pet Alliance is a no-kill shelter.
Yes they do..
You have to go in person or call and ask.
They often have specials on adoption fees and some times the fees are waived. Got my pup from death row. She had been there 3 weeks. She is the best
Good idea, you could ask though
They take all pets surrendered to them
I just adopted a pet and I only pay $10 for everything
No, you have to take him in and pay a fee. What kind of animal? See if there is a rescue who might take him and rehome.
No, but they do check to see if your apartments accepts pets
What is sunder?
I'm not exactly sure, I know they give a pamphlet on it so you can call and register it.
Dial 211 to report it. Animal Services will come look for it.
Yes they do.
Sometimes if it's an owner surrender, they give the pets information, however if they're picked up as strays, they have no way of knowing any history on the animals. Hope this helps 😊
Animal control will definitely pick up strays. However you have to call them and give them the address where the dog is. They prefer that you hold the dog until they get there. They won't go looking for it in the neighborhood.
No. Only cats and dogs.
Yes
Sorry they don't board any animals. Good luck
Yes and there is a fee, I believe its $20.00 it helps them pay for food etc..for the animals in the shelter
I think she does, or both of them to a refujio because there are only adopt
Check with the Greater Pet Alliance. I had my 2 girls done there for $55 each
I dont want to put her down i want her to go to a good home
Who offers free services?
Not at the moment,
She is at least 17 (human years). I got her as a young adult cat.
I don't think they carry rabbits but I do know they have cats and dogs.
It is but definitely depending on what you want to get done.
Go across street and pet Alliance humane is high kill and yes tell them u rescue from street
I don't work there! But I think their hours are from 9 - 6
They only euthanize the very old who are sickly or if they are filled to capacity which isn't often because the facility is huge.
It's been 10 hours. Is there any use if i call them now? If there is then can you give me there number?
You have to call them to set up a surrender of a cat. They don't do walk ins.
You have to call ...
Yes they do
You call animal services but it is a kill situation. Call pet alliance of Orlando and they can give you info on surrendering to adopt or look for cat sanctuary rescue organizations. It's not easy here because of the large feral cat problem. Good luck.
You can take it to the orange county animal services oh they can look it up. If he is sick, they will put him to sleep. You can call to take mine but it was because he could not have it in my Apt.
I think they do.
Just go in they can help you better in person. They also have a bulletin board & you can walk through and see if your pet is there.
He does not speak Spanish. What are the same?
Sorry No!
You can surrender them to Pet Alliance. I know they are full. But they should be able to help you. They are near the animal control or call the cat rescue too.
Idk specifically either
They do off and on you have to keep checking
No it won't!
Go in and talk to them. I know that a lady was sick and so was her 3 dogs they just took three dogs for the lady
I got my baby at almost 5-month-old. They were running a special at that time like they most often do. I paid 35.00. Yes, they are circumstances where you can adopt for free. He was neutered, chipped, had the Rabies shot, 1st round of Dhpp, dewormer, Bordetella, flea prevention. He was tattoo also. Best dog ever!
Check their website to see what's available
If your HOA can't do anything for you, you can contact Animal Services but honestly unless the dogs are in some sort of danger or situation where they're being neglected, they're not going to be able to do anything. While annoying, barking dogs are not illegal... (if you haven't already) maybe you could do some research on different methods they could employ to help their dogs be calmer when they aren't home. Suggest different kinds of busy toys their dogs might like to keep them occupied, they can't bark while they're chewing on something. Either way - the most likely outcome if Animal Services does get involved is that the animals will be confiscated, evaluated, and then put in a shelter where the odds around here are that they will be euthanized if they aren't adopted within a month or two simply due to overpopulation of homeless animals and lack of capacity. Not to be too much of a hippie but for the sake of the animals try to work it out with the neighbors.
That would be a situation for Florida fish and wildlife. Animal control deals with cats, dogs, domesticated pets
Will have to call them for that information
These forums are answered by people who are local not the staff of the shelter, for specific info you should call them.
No
You would need to contact them
My recommendation is to visit the shelter every day if you can. The best way to see what kind of dogs they have is the website www.orangecountyspca.com. Remember that small dogs go fast, so you will need to be there as soon as they are open. So bring your identification and if you rent your lease indicating that you can have pets. And your best luck ...
They did have.Just give them a call and ask them.
Contact the county animal shelter to have the mother & kittens picked up and cared for. They'll deal with the possibility of adoption. *give water if not done yet.
You can call Anmial Control for Orange County. They will review what can be done. They will capture and take the cats to the pound for health review and hopefully adoption. * can You give them some water/food? It is helpful for them. I would not pick them up, they might move away after that and then the county might not get them. Call the county shelter to see what they say. Food & Water is Very Important!! Thank you for being a GREAT PERSON!!
Please visit the online site for the best information.
These questions are answered by other area residents who know about the area.
I don't believe so, but all adoption fees are $20 off for the month of January, so you'll still get a great deal!
If I recall correctly it is $35
Card, or if veteran or public service it's free
You will need to contact them directly Alice.
Call 3-1-1 they will give you the necessary information. They speak Spanish.
They have a Facebook page. ..maybe start there?
From their website: I found a stray animal. What should I do? First, try to locate the owner by checking to see if the animal has a microchip or any tags. An animal can be scanned for a potential microchip at any local vet or shelter. Additionally, posts on the Lost and Found Pet forum are encouraged.
I believe they don't.
If you can't find a rescue the county does there best. Wish I could help.
For Orange county residents they do discounted and sometimes free services on occassions. Call their office for more info.
If you look on their site for her number and call 311 they can tell you.
You may need a slip from the school that says "you are keeping up your grades and are mature enough to handle a larger amount of extracurricular activity". *it may also get Extra Credit for being so Civic Minded!! Have fun!!!
Definitely
I'm not sure if they would take an aggressive dog. If you want to keep the dog however try a training session first before you give him/her away
They hold them for months and have OVER a 90% adoption rate for dogs, they have to tell you there's a chance the dog can be put down because there is always that <10% chance
Sorry, no
Yes, check business hours prior to going, to surrender your animal they charge $15
My. Dog. Had. Parvo. He. Died. This. Month. Got. Another. Dog. From. That. Shelter. This. Month. For. 15. Dollars
You can call 311 and they can always send an animal control officer to check on the welfare of the dog. Also, if you have a state trooper or sherrif that patrols your community, you can always ask them if it's legal, what you should do, if they can check it out, or send someone.
I have a puppy I adopted from Puerto Rico but cannot keep her If your interested
They have a website showing all the pets available if not try falling pines lil critters they definitely do
I think they only have dogs and cats, but I would call to be sure.
I don't know about a rabies shot. I know my puppy bit me when I was 8 and he had rabies. We all ended up getting shots. Back then it was 14 shots in the abdomen...ouch!!! Traumatic experience!!
I hope they do.
Depends on size
depends on the size
No they do not. But they may be able to recommend someone for you. Also check with Pet Alliance.
Bring him to Pet Alliance. They can arrange cremation there. It's right across from Orange County and I'm so sorry for your loss. They are very kind there when dealing with this.
There's a process from checking pets, interacting if you like one and filling out the paper work. You also need to show ID. It will take time, so go without rush.
I do not believe animal control charges a fee, however pet alliance does. In addition, ocac is a kill shelter, while pet alliance is a low kill. Meaning, that they will only euthenis if critically ill
The best answer is when you get there, looks around, and ask the question to the professional personal at the front desk.
They have a clinic, meaning you have to pay for services.
Call them and they will come pick them up
Phone shelter.
Hi ! In muy job a found a nab6u Snake, ó think that is poison by the color Orange and yellow, i want kill, i velive that the poison snake save lives make antidot, ó don't who recibe the Snake? Some body help my? Baby Snake !
Greater pet Alliance of Orlando is right across the street from OCAS, they are a no-kill shelter
Yes, the unfortunate consequence of irresponsible animal owners and overpopulation. However, OCAS does a great job in trying to get their animals rescued.
No. It is first come, first served.
The chip is on the neck, normally the one on the belly must be the spay, and you won't see the chip, but those two dryers think it is only the spay.
Spay n save
Nice ... Thanks !!! Is there any way to see photos of the available puppy's?
Yes
They don't normally have rabbits but I have seen them before . when you first walk in and you sign the visitor book they will put a clear glass encasement just past that. it's separate from the dogs and cats . I suggest calling them ahead of time to see if they happen to have it or where they would suggest you look if they don't they're very very nice people and are very helpful from my past experience.
When you walk in to the animal shelter and go past the reception desks and where your do the visitor sign in .... on the right hand side past that is a lost and found board where you can post a picture of your animal so if you can't make frequent phone calls to check in your pup's face will be right there so hopefully they'll get back to you as soon as possible sorry you lost your dog that's really sad
They have an adjacent clinic, but only do enough grooming to make presentable for adoption.
Theres a good chance someone might be able to tell whether this raccoon might have had babies or not... everyone is right id call and ask right away.
No, you have to call a county call center number and they connect you to the shelter.
I'm not sure if you call they will tell you. And I'm sure it's no more then 10
Only if the animal is sick
Yes, bring them in to the drop off area. Then you should seriously look into getting the mama cat fixed.
Yes, as the others have said, go down and check in person.
I would say call them
Yes you can. I don't know if you need to pay more.
No you can just bring it ther woth no appt.
No. U need to go to a emergency hospital for animals.
I like the kind bind idea as well...if you have a neighborhood Facebook page for pets or a similar site you might find more ideas
Call them if you give your name it's public record if you choose not to it is not public record.
I don't think they have the means to (ladder or authority to climb that high) but I could be wrong. Every county is different. Also, I have heard the cat has to have been up there a certain amount of time before being too concerned. Please keep us posted.
I go to the one by the millenia mall
Have you asked THEM? They would be the ones to give you the most accurate info, i would think... Seems smarter than asking random people that may only have an opinion without facts.
Yes, no food or water 12 hours prior to surgery
If she is turned in here she will be adopted within minutes. Little dogs go very, very fast here.
You have to go to Orange county animal shelter. They can help you in person, good luck ..
I don't think they do that, they try to get them medical attention. there's a vet built into the same office
I'm not a lawyer, but under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service dog is allowed anywhere you are. You can't be legally evicted. But it has to truly be a service dog. I threatened Orange County with an ADA complaint over something they tried to do to a disabled friend and they backed down. Explain to them you know your rights under the ADA and will file a complaint and possibly sue if needed and suggest they educate themselves about the ADA. You could also contact the ACLU for advise or a referral to local, free legal help. Good luck!
That is depressing I have been catching and finding homes for cats I have spent hundreds of dollars of my own money making sure they're healthy and fixed with my regular vet come to find out they trapped a bunch of them today I want to know where they are I could have gotten them homes
Yes they will receive it.
It depends on many factors, like age, health, space, likelihood of being adopted, etc. If the animal was picked up as a stray, they will keep it at least a week to give the owner time to reclaim it. Two months ago, I adopted an old beagle. Due to age and a treatable health issue, they only gave him a week. I took him home the day they were going to put him down, because they thought no one would want him, and they weren't even full! I think that sucks. But some dogs are there for weeks or longer.
Well I'm sure it's not Orange county shelter. If you see a pregnant cat bring her there so she can deliver her babies and they all can get adopted. Local nonprofit groups in Orlando can help too. Google them up and call . Best of luck
Sorry, no idea what that says...
They accept volunteers age 16 and up. Junior Volunteers ages 16 and 17 are able to volunteer with the signed consent of a parent or guardian.
Regular price is $55, but seniors 7 and over, or heartworm positive dogs, are free. Cats are BOGO.
Justin is correct! The cat needs to be seen immediately. The cat could be suffering from any number of things. Please see a vet as soon as possible.
If they come in then they have them. Please check their website or Facebook page for current animals available for adoption.
Animal control can help. Neighbors can help. Animal rescues can help. Just depends on the route you want to go.
Yes, are you going to surrender an animal? I recommend trying to being them to a no kill shelter or rescue.
Call and ask them.
I am sure service dogs get surrendered, but they don't know the background of the dogs when they come in. I suggest you look for a rescue that also does service dogs. You will need a note from your doctor stating that you will benefit from having such assistance. Hope this helps. :)
Call Orange county animal control
Contact your local animal control
Yes
It varies dog to dog. Average is about 7 days. More for highly adoptable dogs. As little as the 72 hour stray hold for sick or aggresssive dogs.
The SPCA clinic across the street from it has the means to do
Yes, if you owned the pet. Strays are free but a small donation would help.
You can check their website, it is really cheap compared to a vets fee
You will not get a discount but the price's are cheap
Call the Humane Society to set up an appointment. Most Humane Societies do not allow you to simply walk in to give up your animal. Be prepared to wait a few weeks to get an appointment. Fill out the questionnaire available online. The form asks about age, sex, health and personality of the dog as well as other vital information. Get copies of all the dog's veterinary records. The Humane Society wants to see a history of the dog's health in addition to vaccinations. Groom the dog before the interview. Give the dog a bath and trim his nails. Go to the Humane Society on the day of the appointment with your dog and his medical records. The staff will ask you questions, examine the dog, and assess his temperament. Pay the requested donation. Most Humane Societies request a donation of up to $100 depending on the pet. If money is a problem, pay what you can. Some Humane Society locations accept unopened dog food and other reusable items like groomin
If you surrender a dog and change your mind a few days later are you allowed to get the dog back
You walk in and sign in to the front desk and they will show you where the cat part of the facility is. You'll get to go in and look at all the different cats and you can ask to play with them to see if its a good match. If you picked one out then a volunteer will fill out a form for you to take back to the front desk where you'll fill out your information and pay. After that it depends on the cat on whether or not you take it home the same day. Some cats are ready to go and some still need certain vaccinations or need to be spayed. The volunteer there should be able to inform you on their waiting period.
If the dog has water and or shelter of any sort there isnt anything you can do. If it barks past 9 pm you can file a noise complaint but if the dog isnt barking when the officer arrives there isnt anything they can do
Those 8 cats are probably just stray cats. Meaning the previous apt ownie didn't "leave" them. I dont remember Orange County's policy on strays, but, if you really want to get them, then you will need to call them cause im certain they wont reply to you here. GL!
$15. Please check my pictures. I also added a panflet that has extra info on prices, locations and dates. Thanks
Well, they have cats there so my guess is yes. I went to adopt so I'm not 100% sure.
I saw a few small dogs. They told me those go quicker
Hello! They actually do have ways to help you adopt and to help this little angels get adopted. Like kitten bogo, if you would like to adopt 2 cats instead of one the second one goes home free of charge. And you still all the great perks, microchip, vaccines, neuter or spay surgery and full dr. Check up.
No
Hello! What I can suggest is that you bring your puppy and explain your situation, if they consider that you can not or are able to control it or avoid an aggressive situation or fight, the safest thing is that you suggest that you deny your rights as owner of your puppy, and so they can try to find a home with an owner capable of controlling it and have the strength and time to train it correctly to correct their aggressiveness
