Can we call the shelter and tell them which dog we want to adopted and ask the staff to hold the animal for us?

The shelter will not hold animals. You can call the shelter and ask if the animal is still available. However, you will have to go and fill out the proper paperwork and pay for the animal if there is a cost.

I trapped a raccoon and need someone to come pick it up. It may have babies somewhere. Is there anyway for you to know if it’s pregnant because if it has kids then they would be up in my neighbors porch roof and I’d want to save them from starving.
