We took our 5-year-old daughter to Circle D Ranch for a pony ride as she can't do the full trail ride yet. The stables are gorgeous, and staff is friendly, and the ponies are well-taken care. Our only complaint is that we wish there were some longer options. 2 laps wasn't much of an experience. She said it ended way too soon.

Great experience, loved it! Guides were great and horses were excellent even for a child that has never ridden a horse. Priced pretty reasonably for the time and length of ride. They provide helmets, safety instruction and a great ride! Oh and we did see a few deer.

We loved Tri-circle-D Ranch!!! We had two guides, and they really went above and beyond. It was my son's first riding experience and they walked him through all the steps and made him feel at ease before our 45 minute ride. It was a beautiful day and we will always have fond memories of our 3 beautiful horses... Bart, Cooper and Sherman. This place is fun for beginners and even experienced riders. *They even took the time to take some family photos before our ride was over. Who knew Disney had a horse stable? It was a first for us and we will be back again!! 🐎 ✨

Awesome experience, loved it! Guides were great and horses were excellent, not like the typical trail horses everyone is used to. Priced pretty reasonably for the time and length of ride. Provided helmets, safety instruction and ride was great!

Adults are welcome but is a weight limit, I'm 240 lbs and was ok they have the limit on the site
Indeed, that's probably the best age to learn about the gentle horses there... look for the hidden mickey on the horses.
Yes
They only let them walk.
Do you mean buggy following along with the horses? I believe you can rent at the same time, but they wouldn't allow a buggy to follow on the trail.
It's confusing because the stables where the trail ride begins is located at the entrance to Ft. Wilderness, and is called Tri Circle D. But there is another barn where Disney horses are kept and they have pony rides there.....that is also called Tri Circle D but is on the other side of Ft Wilderness resort property, near the boat launch. Any internal Disney bus will connect you from one end of the resort property to the other. So be sure to clarify *which* Tri Circle D is where the archery experience takes place.
Yes but not If your riding or walking the kids around on ponies. Both hands must be available for the ride or safety of child.. I only know cause we where there last weekend and I got yelled at for taking pics with my phone while walking my little one around on pony. And my husband was walking around our other kid so we both where occupied and wanted pics so I took them when I could. But if your just taking pictures should be just fine. Everyone else was snapping away inside the stalls. Super nice BTW. And horses and ponys just beautiful.
To ride horses its 103 pond for 2 adults 1 child
Yes it is $55 a person and a 45- minute ride.
Usually like 9am to 5pm
No people go there all the time to just camp and not do the parks
As they were mounting everyone on the horses they would hook the horse to the fence and you could take great pictures there but once moving on trail no phones or cameras allowed out. The staff will help move riders and horses around to get pictures
You do not have to have a reservation to do pony rides but if you want to go horseback riding you would want to reserve your spot ahead of time to make sure there is availability. You do pay in advance and if you have to cancel within 24 hours you get a refund. I'm sure there is availability occasionally without reservations. Circle D Ranch is over in the campground area. You can park there for free and take the ferry over to the Magic Kingdom.
