If a cat is picked up in a neighborhood by the county where would they take the cat

They would be taken to the shelter. But they do have a limited time there. They try to see if there is a microchip, if not they put it up for adoption

Due to the virus alot of procedures changed but they are not a no kill shelter

Right now with the virus it is a processing area for 14 days but during that time they look for owner plus microchip
