traveling from Florida my family and I decided to make a vacation adventure by taking a train ride from Anaheim to San Diego. Unfortunately just before a train arrived my daughter-in-law passed out in the bathroom. The train station attendant Peggy could not have been kinder. When we hadn’t shown up on the platform she held the train and came inside to see where we were. When she found out the ambulance was coming for my daughter-in-law she made sure our needs were met. She passed along to Georgia on the next shift that we would be back hopefully. Fortunately with just a little fluids and monitoring we were able to come back and catch a train later in the day. Georgia could not have been kinder and more compassionate. These two ladies deserve every recognition available. I am a nursing Director and would not hesitate to hire either one of these ladies based solely on their customer service. They are a true asset to your organization.

Can't complain it is a Transit center not a five star restaurant hotel or lobby. Just having fun with my family on the weekend train hopping.

Overnight parking is free in lot B. You need to register the car online or hard copy at the station. You can register up to 2 weeks for parking. articinfo.com
Contact Amtrak 1800usarail
There are no hours for parking lot A. If you leave your car there over night (passet 12 midnight) you will be cited and or towed.
You can use the metro link or Amtrak apps and they can download the tickets, or you can take a screenshot of the QR Codes and send them in a text message. Remember to only send them to the people traveling as anyone can use them if they get the tickets and this is a common way people fraud concert tickets.
I believe is free for 8 hrs if you are staying until the next day I guess is better to call the office
No, as a fellow filmmaker sadly not.
I was not able to purchase a physical ticket at this location. The Kiosk was not working properly. I had to purchase my ticket on my phone. The ticket window was close. Only the window for the bus was open for a hard copy ticket.
U can go 2the station and ask metro 4 a metro link train schedule and they will give you one.
They have a pretzel place (I think Aunt Anne's?) and pinkberry
You need to look st the schedule to Oakland
Lillian if you are going from Anaheim to La it is always cheaper to use Metrolink then it is Amtrak the only downfall about using Metrolink is it runs early in the morning and later in the evening because it's a commuter train..metro is. $8 and Amtrak is $16
Amtrak website or call this number . Also find out in person if u work near there or live by there
No
It's the same as the train that went to sandiego
Look it up on Google maps and don't forget to select public transportation
You can leave your car at the packing station, it is safe and you can leave it at night, they do not charge
Thursday 8/11, I purchased a ticket from the Amtrak kiosk in the Anaheim station about 45 minutes before the scheduled train. (774) Rode to Solana Beach. Both stations were unmanned, seems like all ticketing is being done via kiosk or online. Did not make a reservation.
Contact the center they will guide you thought it
No lol
There is security when the station is open. Always remain vigilant.
It's a public place, anybody can go visit
Yes leaving your car there is fine the ticket thing doesn't work so your ok
Its open 24 hours a day 7 days a week...its a main hub for travel...
Yes
nope about trains but they may have chances for bis trips...!?
Last train 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
If you're taking Amtrak, they have redcap service available. Ask at the Amtrak window. A person will transport you via golf cart to the train.
I assume you're asking about the BUS because the train would take days. You'll have to check individual bus companies (Like if you were flying from LAX, they airport won't have the prices, you'll have to contact the individual airlines) Megabus and Wanderu is 9 hours for $33 bucks when I last checked.
Please visit by Metrolink official website 😁
See the orange county bus schedule. https://www.octa.net/busbook/
1101 is Amtrak, it could be a little later depending on Angel games and train congestion. Please check Greyhound, Mega Bus and FLIX for other options if you need a later time.
No
You can find it here.. https://rideart.org/trip-planner/?from=99&to=60
Yes. On the other end of the platform there is a tunnel that goes under the track.
It doesn't. I believe you'll need to leave from Union Station in Los Angeles for that.
By Anaheim stadium is the closest
The Amtrak surfliner will take you all the way to downtown San Diego. It usually runs between $20-30 dollars each way, depending on if they have specials
Yes. Amtrak stops in Anaheim and ends in San Diego with stops in Santa Ana, Irvine, San Juan Capistrano, etc...
Yes, plenty of drop off parking and Lot A is free if you have to wait a bit longer.
No, only an open lot. You could park at one of the local hotels with covered parking and take the ART shuttle to the station.
That's because they don't own the rails. The rails are owned by another company, that gives priority to their own trains that are used to move their own things. So if one of those trains need to go, then commuter trains like Amtrak and Metrolink will just have to wait. And at some parts of the tracks, there's only a single track, so they have to wait their turns at a previous station, before they can move forward (imagine driving around a 1 lane road up a mountain). And train stations don't always have a 3rd track to pull over to to let another train go by. And Metrolink is slower because they make every stop vs Amtrak that stops at every other stop. And sometimes, it takes them longer to load certain passengers onto the lift who are wheelchair bound. I take the train everyday for work, and it's just something out of our control.
Estrella. It goes to Tiquana and Tiquana International Airport
Yes. Parking lot A is free daily parking, but no overnight unless you apply for a permit and park in parking lot B.
It's free for now. Just drive through. It's there in case they night charge in the future when it becomes more popular. Just make sure it's the North side daily parking and not the South side overnight parking.
Parking is free
Yes they do, but only if you use either grayhound or Amtrack. Be careful of the grayhound, the owner is rumored to go through peoples luggage.
Not directly, you have to transfer You can get to Burbank from there and then take a bus
They have The Oyster Bar, Auntie Anne's, and Pinkberries. Supposedly more after coming.
Yes
Yes
It should be free
Take the train to Orange and take a another train or go to Disneyland. Bus stop take 200 express to San Bernardino that is how you get there
You should be able to get schedules from the Amtrak and Metro Link websites.
A casual 30-45 minutes. Be sure and park in correct area. Take elevators or escalators as required. Food, snacks and beverages are available. It's a beautiful building.
It is a "2-hour"train train ride from San Diego to Anaheim on Amtrak. The fair is about $28.
The North side of the ARTIC is the front of the building where pick ups and drop offs usually occur.
Convenience stores closer to ARTIC carry beer and wine. Liquor stores require a longer drive. Plenty of restaurants in area.
Lot B (south end) is for overnight parking during the week. Lot A on (north end) is for overnight parking during weekend. Arrive early and talk to on-site security. They will help you avoid any surprises and potential fees.
Yes
Free. Short term is Lot A in front. Long term is Lot B in back. Tell security your long term plans as required.
No, you would have to take a bus that leaves from there to the border ...
No
Take a train to L.A. Union Station. From there the "LAX Express bus" will take you to LAX and to your desired Airline terminal. Ask The INFORMATION booths or Security where you can catch the bus. Reasonably priced. It is an excellent option.
