I personally like this office location for social services for Orange County CA. The office building looks like it has been remolded with fresh paint on the walls. The place is kept very clean Neat and tidy. I personally like all the staff at this location. What clients have to understand they staff are county that adds up to being state workers. IN a time when the modern world was shut down due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions rules and guidelines the staff have to follow and yes enforce the rules to everyone. Bluntly speaking I have seen workers be yelled at verbally disrespected by clients for whatever reasons. Clients have to understand the workers DON'T make the big huge paychecks. Yes the workers make at best decent wages . With still hopefully good medical and dental benefits. With hopefully still a good retirement plan with state and federal Retirement plans . They are just THE many front line workers That KEEP the little no body like myself to keep doing what I need to do. To my part as well. IF when people that are the client can understand this ? You don't know for a clear fact that the workers the staff have not been where you have needing that help. You have to good people communication understanding empathy also balance it with logical decision making for every client that walks threw you door or calls the call center . When clients can at least try to understand the workers view points . That they are someone's child parent sibling partner spouse . I really believe most clients would get more empathy understanding from the workers . Examples don't come into the office at 10 minutes to when they close . A worker might have to rush out of work to pick up there own child from daycare that's almost outrageous for them to pay to start with . Could be sitting where you the client sits now Just food for thought thank you

I like this location. ( Just my personal choice.) For whatever reasons why I am here??? The staff are always Nice Polite friendly. They process people threw very quickly I think . Rather when the office first opens in the morning. Or right few before the office closed for the business day. But this office location needs another working machine to get the client's checked in faster. Get them taken care of and out the door faster.

My roommate had to sign up when he wasn't working, but I had a job so I didn't need to...this was in 2010- 2011. Now we both work so haven't been on cash aid since 2012. For cal fresh/snap as long as you don't go above your RTI family size and income level. You can check online. Register if you haven't done so to open you account and apply or you can go to your local office and verify with a social worker.
You mean wraps or cigars pendejo learn to say if right
Create a payment plan at the office, and follow thru with your payment...
All procedure is personal.
You can speak with any Medi-cal social worker and they will process your request
They will help you apply for food stamps, medical and cash aid and let you know which you qualify for go early as there is a wait. Take something to do. Something to eat and drink
They will give you a paper to get it from DMV for free.
Have to call and ask them.
Apply at government jobs.com
You may need to go down there and fill out to recertification forms.
If you missed the yearly paperwork that is sent then it's faster to go into the office it's hard to do it over the phone sometimes. They have people outside to assist you.
Get their email address. That's how I contact mine. It's much easier. I usually get an answer within a couple hours. Unless it's my calworks worker then she's just on top of it
I'm sure they must because of the computer access
You need to go to the Office that is assigned to you and update your information.
Always
Yes or u can always ask for an interpreter too.
You need to report the caseworker. They are supposed to talk to people with respect. They can get a warning or fired. You may even be able to sue for verbal abuse especially because your pregnant. Law suit.
Depending on what county you apply. Here is Orange County Ca website. https://www.mybenefitscalwin.org/ If its an emergency and you need food right away I suggest go in the office and if you qualify you will be able to get help today. Good luck
You can pick it up, but it must be arranged by your worker. Please call your worker or the Service Center for further information.
This office is the Social Services Agency. The office that you are looking for is the Social Security Administration. It is located in Santa Ana.
No, the offices are closed on weekends. You'd have to call during business hours Monday through Friday.
I don't know, I went straight to the office.
Yes
At the time of writing this, the hours are 8 - 5 with limited services only. You cannot see your assigned worker, but there are workers at the entrance that assess your need and advise appropriately. It is strongly recommended to contact the worker by phone, the MyBenefitsCalWin app, mail or email. The drive-thru service is by appointment only. Saturday drive-thru is currently available at the Santa Ana location for limited hours (serving all regions}. Check with your worker or Service Center phone agent.
Walk up. Outside service only. 9am-1pm.
Depends on the office your at but the la palma office there's usually cones out on the side of the building and the workers have people form a a line like its a drive thru but if u took the bus the line forms you SHOULD just wait. By the side of the parking lot u came in on and when the workers come out you'll just need to tell them n they will deal with u right there
You would have to call ur worker and get the 1800 num
No go to DMV
The number is 1 800. 271-9799. Follow the prompts. They give you the choice of remaining on the line or entering your phone number for a call back in a given amount of time that they specify when you choose to have a call back. Someone will always call back by that time.
Anywhere from 3 to 7 business days. I suggest using mybenefitscalwin.org to complete your reports for quicker processing. You can call your caseworker for a more accurate processing timeframe.
You can deliver it online
Believe it's at 3320 E. La Palma Av., Anaheim
Previously those receiving SSI/SSP were not eligible for CalFRESH. CalFRESH has now expanded to include those individuals. You are still subject to income screening though and SSI/SSP + any income received by other household members will be counted as part of the evaluation if you're purchasing and preparing food together.
If there is the paper

If you need help with section 8 housing they will not be able to help you at social services. You'll have to apply to housing in downtown Anaheim.
Dont go on a Monday, Friday or the first couple days after a Holiday. You'll be there a good 3-4 hours. Wednesday and Thursday are best about 1.5 - 3 hours(tops-usually) wait time. Good Luck! One question, you have Kids correct? This is the Office ONLY for Parents with Children.
You must go inside and ask. Or you can give the agency a call.
Just contact your worker and have your partner go with you and take their info.
You may need to go to the family courts to get him to pay. I think its the one off state college Blvd. Across from the block of orange/ outlets of orange. Call there and ask what you can do. Its a good place to start at least. 341 the city drive. Orange, CA 92868 A county clerk might be able to give you the paperwork you need and they may have other resources you can use
I suggest calling 211 and asking about housing. They can point you in the direction of programs that can help. This office does more medical benefits and EBT. They may be able to help with housing but I suggest calling 211 services as well.
I believe the last time I stopped by a subway they had a sign out saying they accept ebt
Some do, but they only accept the EBT cash
I suggest, if you can, go to the same office. However if you have your case # you should be fine going to any office
I believe so just go to www.mybenefitscalwin.org. If you cannot for whatever reason call the number on your card or call ssa early in the morning preferrably. I hope that helps.
Yes, you can.
You should be able to the best time to reach them is early in the morning, before noon, and before 5. If you cannot reach the case worker go in and use the phones their by windows 9-13. The case worker will may come out. If that doesn't work ask the info desk or someone from windows 9-12 ususlly can help you out quicker. Just from what I see when I sit and wait there.
Ask about medical, food stamps and Calworks
Yes you can do application onlibe.
Medi-Cal is a program that offers free or low-cost health coverage for children and adults with limited income and resources. So it would depend on if you qualify.Covered California is the state’s health insurance marketplace where Californians can shop for health plans and access financial assistance if they qualify for it. Health plans available through Medi-Cal and Covered California both offer a similar set of important benefits, called essential health benefits.
Not sure at all. Haven't looked into the situation.
Yes, you are able to use your CalFresh out of state.
I don't believe that you can get an appointment before filling out the paperwork. An easy alternative is to fill the application out online. They will then contact you for an appointment so that they can review your application. They give you the option of doing so over the phone or in person.
