Sign up that said one server and one cook so food would take a while. I ordered the Steakburger and fries. Best waitress ever! The burger and fries were perfect. Our order didn’t even take long. Outstanding experience!

IHOP is always good! I hate the one near me in Shelby closed. Luckily Gastonia isn't much further away. Never have any issues. Staff is always friendly food is always great. There was a sign on the door that said they were shortstaffed. Only one cook and one server. Even been short staffed the food was amazing and the server had a great attitude!

Mostly good food....service was great....they had some trouble with the hash browns this particular morning but over all decent for an IHOP. But when we sent the hash browns back because they were beyond burnt.....we got back uncooked hash browns on top of the burnt ones...kinda stupid, nah, no one's that stupid....it was obvious....we assumed there was also spit in it at this point so the hash browns were PAID for but not consumed. Probably won't go back.

I guess I shouldn't have expected fresh food at 8pm but none of the food was fresh. Except the pancakes which were really good, until I got to the middle which was uncooked. Won't be going back.

I've gone to this same IHOP as well as many in other places and I've always preferred this one. I've had one bad server ever and that is out of my at least 10 year experience with this location and this could happen anywhere. It used to be 24 hours 7 days a week and I stopped in many nights as a single guy on nights off while I was working third and service and food were great. Saturday and Sunday this place is slammed so that factors in. I was just in this location Sunday morning and food was great!

Have ate at the IHOP on Cox Road for years with my family. They stay busy, they get people in and out the food is always spot-on. We love it and go there at least 2 times a month but as the saying goes you want steak go to a steakhouse. Believe me the one time that you went may have been bad but they will survive the storm. Every time we've gone it has been nothing less than a 5 stars
