I was better off in here 18 April than being out in the street . Im giving them 5 stars for being human and though fully booked they showed me some thing and i paid. I was a needy visitor- thank you. Honestly, i knew nobody and nowhere to go at that hour and my phone wasn’t working, these guys are good humans. I was safe. Find out for yourself.Gracias

For all you complainers wondering why the streets get blocked quit wondering and do your own research and find out for yourself you may learn something. And as for the crews being slow how about if I showed up at your place of employment and started rawhiding you to hurry up. You would not like that.

What a joke! You need to re-think the time of day you are moving those trains back and forth!! This is very unsafe and clogging up traffic at peak hours, for at least a half hour to 45 min at a time is ridiculous. Move them in the middle of the night or mid-day might be a thought. grrr

Questions & Answers

Since "The law mandates that trains blow 2 short and 1 long when approaching any crossing for safety of the public, and regardless of the hour", I am wondering why on October 11 at 4:00 a.m. I counted over 20 horn blows. This happens frequently.

Lets use some simple logic here. You have a horn sequence that consists of 4 distinct sounds. Now, you have 5 consecutive crossings in a relatively short span of track and the train is traveling around 49 mph. I'll let you figure the rest out.

I'm wondering why the trains blow their horns excessively and unnecessarily for long periods of time in the very early morning hours? It is obviously NOT normal "warning" horn blows. It is over the top ridiculous!

No its 2 long horn blows, 1 short, then another long horn blow. The law mandates that we do that to warn traffic so we don't hit anyone regardless if anyone is at the crossing or not.
