These guys are good at fighting fires, but if you are deathly ill don't expect these first responders to be kind to you while you wait for the ambulance. I was very ill with food poisoning and had no one else to call. I thought I was dying and had never called 911 before. 2 men were ok, but they did look through my cupboards while I got dressed. I could hear them talking about my belongings. The other man was beyond terrible to me. Even insulting me and my home while I laid on the floor as he stood over me insinuating I didn't need and ambulance, asking why I didn't have friends. I had just moved there. He told me he wasn't gonna help me down the stairs and I heard him tell the paramedics he didn't believe I was that sick. At one point the other two men seemed surprised by him. I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days because of my illness. So he was wrong. I hand delivered a very detailed letter about my experience to this department and was told they would call me. No phone call. It was a scarring experience. I hope I never need them again.
