Everything was fine until early this morning when I discovered someone stole all my towels from the dryer in the laundry room. Update: I know there slowly improving from upgrading the laundry room and fixing the gate but people need to keep any gate closed. My boyfriend car was broken into and my car was broken into TWICE!! And what's more frustrating that the only thing that was taken that was important was my daughter tawkando uniform and she's 7. Before the pandemic I never once saw any roaches but these past 2 years there everywhere!

I was in contact with Jill at the office who took care of my questions and concerns prior to choosing Zona Rio as my new home due to relocating for work. I am leaving this review after moving in and settling down! Jill is very professional and I could not have asked for a better experience from Zona Rio while apartment hunting around Tucson. The apartments grounds (pool, laundry facility, etc.) are clean and well-kept, and I was also very satisfied with the condition of my apartment. Although it took me longer than expected to finally move in, Jill kept in contact with me for months to keep me in the loop on apartment availability. I hope to be a resident of Zona Rio for years to come while I pursue my career here in Tucson!

The Management Company at Zona Rio’s was very pleasant and willing to help. They actually listened to their tenants when the parking lot was becoming overrun. Many other examples as well. The manager, Shelby, is very attentive and responsive. I highly recommend this complex, maintenance and groundskeepers were amazing. The reason for 4 stars is just because the gates weren’t always working. No fault of staff.

Jill, Jessica, and Shelby are an awesome management team. I didn't end up signing a lease with Zona Rio for a variety of personal reasons, but I would have been lucky to have lived somewhere with such good people working to take care of me. I was moving to Tucson from out of state and trying to find an apartment virtually, which is always a stressful venture. All three of them answered countless questions, over email and the phone, and sent all the photos and videos I requested. It was truly multiple months of communication. Throughout the process, they assured that providing the info was no hassle and that they understood how stressful apartment searching can be, especially during COVID. I'm so grateful for the care they treated me with and the work they put in. They know their stuff! Zona Rio seemed like a lovely complex with a kick butt management team.

Residents will pay Tucson Electric Power directly for electricity. Residents will pay for the water, sewer, gas, and trash directly to Zona Rio in addition to the monthly rent in a fluctuating amount based on monthly usage.
