Online this hotel looks decent, but when you arrive it is very outdated and run down. Plus, the parking is very limited. The gentleman who checked us in was very kind, but for whatever reason my room key wasn’t functioning properly and I had to get it reset twice, which was such an inconvenience. As for the room, it’s pretty neat that it’s a suite but it only has two double beds, vice queens, which to me are way too small and pointless. Then the sofa bed was the absolute worst I’ve ever experienced. It was all lumpy and all the springs were practically popping out. What an embarrassment for this hotel. That mattress needs to be throw out immediately! As for the bathroom, the door is a sliding one that does not allow any privacy and it doesn’t even lock. On a positive note, the breakfast is great and the movie night for the kids is a splendid idea.

The hotel is a little older but gives it more of an eclectic feel. It is a short 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk to Old Town. The Scottsdale Airport is about a 15-minute drive. The breakfast buffet is one that would compare to a restaurant. The nightly happy hour was very nice too with open bar and light snacks. Note they do charge a $25 resort fee. The staff was kind and got me checked in quickly. The room was a large two room suite. The first room had a pullout couch, table, wet bar and tv. The second room was the bedroom that was very big. The bed was comfortable as were the linens. Both rooms were clean as was the bathroom that had a shower tub combo. Other Amenities: - Free WIFI - Mini fridge and microwave - Wet bar - Large outdoor pool and spa - Fitness Room - Laundry room - Free bicycle rental - Nightly happy hour with open bar - Hot breakfast (Eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, fresh fruit, oatmeal and cereals)

I can not believe this is an Embassy suites. Half the plugs didn't work by the bed, the ceiling had watermarks and cracks and the room was dirty; smudge marks on the bathroom door, the towel is brown in the bathroom, there is what looks like feces on the toilet. See pics. The heater is so loud I couldn't sleep. This hotel does not look like the pictures on the website but the filth of the room was the worst of it. I used a bottle of alcohol to clean it myself and I still felt dirty wondering if the sheets and pipes have been cleaned. They do have a good breakfast, however.

Rooms online are doctored to create a nicer ambiance than there actually is. The room was borderline disgusting. Leftover dirty wash cloth. Previous guest's dirty socks under the bed which makes me believe we did not have clean bedding. It was very evident it had not been properly vacuumed and cleaned as my kids had Dirty feet from running around the room. Positive items: great location and the breakfast is great for complimentary.

Late check is are still full price. If you are not interested in view, try back building.
After the change to Embassy Suites the hotel no longer has a free shuttle to the airport, but they are very willing to arrange a ride for you there.
