Itβs what youβd expect from a small regional airport, so eat before getting to the airport, donβt sweat long TSA lines, but add a few minutes to run your rental keys over to the counter. Staff was friendly and helpful even when I had a bag go missing on the way in. 1 eatery outside the terminal, 1 inside and a bar.

Love this airport! Price points were the same as Seattle or Portland and much closer to Roseburg where I was heading to visit with family! The airport is small, quaint, logistics are easy..heck, there aren't even any kiosks here to print your luggage tag?! What? You simply walk right up to the counter and speak to a person! How about that? Minimal crowds, security was a breeze and they have some decent eateries inside. The car rental counter is within feet from the luggage carriage! Hint, (go get your rental car first to avoid the rush coming off the plane and you'll avoid a line, then walk 30 feet to pick up your luggage). The car lot is directly across the street and super simple to complete. I'll be flying in here often for sure! Good for you Eugene πͺ

We are glad Eugene had a domestic airport. Itβs clean, friendly and not stressful.

While I have never been to Eugene Airport, my friend lives in Eugene and is flying out of Eugene Airport to visit me. Unfortunately, his Allegiant Air flight has been delayed 6+ hours so he's been sending me photos while he's waiting. The airport looks like a great place!

If check a bag-4-4:15. The airline counter usually don't open until 4am
The earliest the better, be there by 4 or 4:30am give yourself enough time to check in and go through airport security..
11:30 is fine at that time of day.
Yes
Last flight out is a midnight red-eye to Chicago. Flight times change frequently though, as airlines are always tweaking their schedules based on staffing and need. You can check on Flightaware for the whole current schedule.
Tell security and make sure they are in their original bottle with the prescription on it.
It's ok to wait in the airport with a mask on. It's a small airport so there's plenty of space to maintain 6 feet distance.
3 flights are scheduled to leave between 12 and 1. Go to flyeug.com to see all the schedule flights
Yes, free cell phone parking is on the old airport road on the left before you get to the airport grounds, look for the large white billboard with a green arrow
Good question. Best ask the airlines!
No
Cellphone waiting lot by the flight center, just follow the sign and turn left before the terminal loop.
Each airline opens at different times depending on their flight schedules. It is wise to contact your airline for their hours.
No test required and no masks required!!! It was awesome. π
yes
Valley river inn and the eugene hilton. At least for United
No shuttle...it can be walkable, see people once in a while walking it, but no sidewalls. Best bet is to Uber from 99 to the airport...
Short answer: probably not. You can enter the airport, but you cannot get past the security checkpoint without a ticket. Unless you receive a special exemption by the airline or TSA, you cannot go past the security checkpoint without a ticket. Generally speaking, those exemptions are given to people escorting others to the gate who might need additional assistance. You can wait for your son by the baggage claim, which is just inside the front doors and just outside of the security doors for arriving passengers.
Economy parking is open. There is a sidewalk and crosswalk that you can use to walk from the economy parking lot to the terminal. I don't believe the shuttle is currently running (12/15/2021.)
Hello. I flew recently to Arizona. A COVID test was not required. Only if you are flying to Hawaii or internationally.
No
Sorry no buses go there for employees
It depends on the airline.
There isn't one. They wait until someone shows up then they drive them over then wait...repeat repeat repeat.
It depends on your flight I really think an hour and a half should be sufficient. I was there an hour early for a flight I already had checked in and did not have checked baggage and it took less than 10 minutes to go through security. 2 hours is a maximum time I would think. You are going to wait I'm sure
I agree. TSA pre or not - security was 10 min max. If not checking a bag especially, then 15 minutes before boarding is plenty of time.
I agree with Theos answer. I don't believe there is a direct. You'll have a 1 stop via Delta, American, Alaska
It appears that Southwest will be servicing Eugene beginning the later half of 2021.
Yes, they are. Starting summer of 21, if things go as planned.
Driver's license, State ID or passport at check in and at TSA.
Yes, I believe that's standard for all airlines. Had the same issue when my daughter tried to help my hubby by booking his return flight for him while he was driving. She ended up having to go into the airport with him and show identification.
I 2nd this security opens up around 4am lobby is open 24/7 , security is fast.
Hotels nearby?
No smoking inside any buildings
No post office, but they do have a blue public mailbox on the outside terminal.
You'll have to call and inquire. I don't drink alcohol. Sorry for the lack of answer.
Short term is 1.25 per half hour maxing out at 14 for the day making 92 for the week. Long term is 2.50 per hour maxing out at 12 for the day, every 7th day is free making 72 for the week. Economy is 2.50 per hour maxing out at 10 for the day with every 7th day free making 60 for the week with free shuttle service to the terminal.
At this time the Eugene Airport does not have any discounts for veterans.
2 hours
No, there is not.
Congratulations on your new arrival π. I would call Alligent. Flying domestically he should not need a passport and I don't think he needs any ID being under 16 to go through TSA. I assume you will be holding him on you lap but I'm not sure how Allegiant handles the tickets. Safe travels
Todd is correct. You need a valid drivers license or passport to fly domestically.
For most airlines and tickets there is a change fee, you are required to pay the difference in fare price, or even both. Call your airline's customer service number for details.
ID is preferred but not absolutely necessary when traveling domestically.
The easiest answer is to avoid airports if you don't want to go through screening. You might ask if you could just ride through the X-ray instead of a physical search.
You can use Subway gift cards, but they are only valid for purchases of ketchup, napkins, and spoons.
You can call ahead to get escort pass information, but you will probably be told that issuance of escort passes is determined locally by each airline.
Two hours is plenty of time.
Yes, bring it through TSA empty then fill it at the drinking fountain in the other side before boarding your flight.
An hour prior should be fine.
They're not part of the shutdown
No but Lyft is there now
I recommend 2 hours prior the airline check in lines and TSA get backed up for these early departure. Especially if you plan to check luggage show up 2 hours early. If you've already checked in online, have your boarding pass and are only taking your allotted carry on items then you can arrive an hour prior.
It's actually Tailwinds now, with Wheels Up Cafe upstairs by the A gates.
Valley River Inn
This is a forum about features and user experience not airline information, best to go to the airline of your choices' site.
The best you could do is calculate full planes for all departing flights. Otherwise I don't think you'll find this easily.
Are you talking about the one generated by the DMV? If so, yes. It is a government issued photo ID.
We have never had a break in, but I am unsure if it is under 24 hour surveillance.
24/7 https://www.eugene-or.gov/1720/Parking
I usually arrive about an hour in advance and it is enough to get everything done and to the gate with no stress.
Yes, You will need to make arrangements with your airline.
Yes, all major car rentals.
There is construction but follow the signs to long-term its not the closest parking lot to the terminal but the next closest and they have overflow.
Although the Eugene Airport recently had a mobile (temporarily ) enrollment center located near the rental counter, the nearest permanent center is either in Roseburg or Portland. If demand warrants, they might set it up for a fourth time....keep checking the tsa/precheck for details.
No. TSA is still governed by federal law, in which cannabis is illegal. If you are found with it local or federal law enforcement will be called.
Yes. Denver (DEN) and San Francisco (SFO) direct to EUG.
Budget, Enterprise, and Hertz
As of April 1, 2018 the overflow lot was converted to a standard economy lot. Details about Republic Parking rate is detailed on the EUG Airport website. I believe any vehicle occupying a space longer than 30 days needs to be known to them up front. The across the street economy lot is available 24/7 and has a free terminal curbside service.
Taxis are the only option. Our city busses don't go to the airport and ride sharing companies like Uber are currently against the law. There are usually 2-3 taxis that wait outside by the baggage claim, but you can also call a local company to get one scheduled in advance.
That seems like a quotation for the airlines, sorry I can't help.
Long-term parking - $2.50 per hour or $10 per day (based on a 24-hour period) or $60 for a seven-day week.
The terminal is open 24 hours. The ticket counters open at 3:30 am, though hours may be slightly different depending on airline...could check "airport" at eugene-or.gov
Not directly. May require transfers in San Francisco or Portland...Might check with United or Alask Air.
Take the Eugene Florence highway (126) East towards Florence then take a left /north on Green Hill Road which runs into the airport.
Some do.
This would be a question more specific to the limitations of the airlines policies. I recommend going to that particular Airlines website for more information.
Best to try to check with TSA on web, or call your airline. Size will probably matter; could it be used as a weapon, could something be hidden inside?
At Eugene an hour is usually plenty. This allows for unknown delays in security. Boarding is typically 30 minutes before takeoff.
$12/day
