Super cute place, very cozy. Lots of trees and plants which is a nice change up from the city. Personal pools close with access to major ammenedies just across the street. Nice friendly neighbors and staff. The main issue is the intermittent power since the new complex opened up across the street. I have lost a few files thanks to unexpected power loss.

I have been here for a little over 3 months, and I definitely appreciate the location of the complex. It is in walking distance from stores and restaurants; and the neighbors I live around are friendly, yet mildly active (it's a welcomed feel)! I always appreciate that there is parking available. I need to always remember that management is very responsive and prompts someone to take care of issues, should they arise. On that same note, and I cannot speak for anyone else, but my apartment has a pest problem with creepy crawlers coming through openings; that could be a result from being nearby a form of water. The dishwasher also had leftover gunk inside from the previous unit dweller. These are things I can personally manage by using sprays and cleaners; so it isn't a big deal for me. I found it a tad amusing, but questionable is some rats running around the area and climbing up tree branches. Watch out, don't step on one! I really do appreciate the apartment complex for what it is and at the price I pay, considering the location. The management are a great group of individuals that want to please their unit dwellers. If something is wrong, simply ask, and they will take care of it! I am picky, but not too picky about specifics. For those that are, just consider these words, pray about it, and form your own decision!

Hello all, I don't usually leave reviews but unfortunately I saw unfair reviews for the village corners east. I have been in the village corner east for almost 11 months. My experience is outstanding. It is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. Here are some of the reasons: 1. The people in the Leasing Office is very helpful and respectful. 2. I have requested only two minor maintenances in which they responded to my requests very quickly you cannot believe how fast. 3. The apartment is super beatiful and has no issues so far. no insects or roaches . It is very very clean. 4.No noise at all. It is very very quiet neighborhood. My review is more than 5/5. Excellent people and beatiful place. I hope they will continue this great job.

I lived here from about February 2009-February 2010, in one of their efficiencies. The apartment number and address was 8447 Southwestern Blvd. Apartment Number 6134 Dallas, Texas 75206. It had an air conditioning unit that sounded like a metal pipe was being hit with another metal pipe every time the unit would come on. It was so loud and jarring that it would wake me up just as I was beginning to drift off to sleep. I finally gave up trying to use the air conditioner at night, and slept with my sliding glass door open. It was easier dealing with the August heat than the noisy unit. I sent several letters to management complaining about the unit, but since it was not "technically" broken -just loud- they never did anything about it. I could have possibly moved out and fought them in Justice court, but it wasn't worth it. When I moved out, they also tried to take part of my security deposit by claiming that the bedroom floor wasn't properly cleaned. There was just one problem with that -there was no bedroom. It was an efficiency, and I cleaned the entire unit thoroughly before leaving. I have nothing to say but good things about The Village overall, but this unit was terrible, and I hope that somebody considering Apartment 6134 will reconsider.
