This was my my families first time visiting this place. We left with great memories. I have already booked my vacation spot for the following year. They have a tons of fun things for the kids, such as dodge ball, a giant water slide and some inflatable jumpers. The bar and food was great. They also had bands playing in the late afternoon. As a bonus, this location is close to sea world, we got to see the firework show from a distance. I highly recommend it.

Extremely family friendly!! Literally so much fun for the whole family. We spent two days & the atmosphere is summer camp meets family trip. Would love to do it again for even longer. The bathrooms are pretty clean and love that showers are not timed. Fun games and activities to do through out the week and the beach is so clean. I do think it needs a little updating but overall such a fun experience.

This place is very busy in summer and the kids love it. There are so many activities and things to do for everyone. They have a great little beach on the bay for swimming and water fun and all sorts of things you can rent like boats and paddle boards. They also have a bar and a place to buy meals if you don’t snag to cook. They have a live band on stage too and they are pretty strict with the noise control after 10pm

Our trailer space was shady, clean, affordable and had a nice grassy area behind it. The bathroom/showers were close and very clean all the time and even kept at a comfortable temperature. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the grounds were well kept and even though the park was relatively full, we did not feel crowded in our section. Nice amenities. Great place for families with kids. Wonderful access to the bike/walk path that surrounds the bay and ocean.

Yes.There are tent and camper sites of all sorts. There is one tent site that is for honeymoon
Rings provided to each campsite, along with picnic table. There are also large, square bonfire pits on the beach.
Yes and it's worth the 20 bux because you don't have to worry about parking at the 🌴 they sell food and drink, have a playground, sand castle contest boating etc. Have fun
Yes, can fish on the property. They even have a market on site that sells all the fishing supplies for the pole to the bait.
Yes ,reservations are getting hard to get cause of the world opening up good luck, have fun and be safe out there.
As long as it is in good condition, no major body damage or leaking fluids
Let us know when you make your reservations, and show us your card at check in.
Most all of our camp sites have a fire ring
Yes. Volleyball. Basketball. Horseshoes. Bocce ball. Lots n Lots of options....
A. Ridley It is worth every cent. There is no bad spot in the entire place. Where ever you camp, showers, amenities and beach are within a few short steps.
You can stay up to 280 days out of the year but every 90 days you have to leave for 24 hrs then you come back usually all are monthly stay from September to June and leave for the summer cause the rates go to a daily rate and it gets to expensive go on the website and read more about it or call are Reservations
Check for RV rentals for campland by the bay. It will give you several places. Also they will set up trailer at the campground for you.
Yes we are open, please check out our web site for restrictions and availability. Www.campland.com
No tents set up, bring your own, and they have a specified area near skateboard park.
Yes, we welcome sprinter vans
Daily parking spots are required now and sold of course
do they rent RV there? Or do we have to rent one before we get to the camp?
Close ? This is a camp ground, they have business hours for check in and check out and staff on site for emergencies 24/7
They have summer and winter rates. Check out their reservation page at https://reservations.campland.com/irmnet/(S(sdmfkdqrdb0ignanzkr253z3))/Res/ResMain.aspx
They may have spots available, but during the summer, it gets booked up quickly. Lots of people pre-book 1 year in advance. I would call before packing up and driving down there
Here is a link to our web site regarding pet rules https://www.campland.com/about/rules-regulations/#
We are about 15min, you take a nice scenic drive along the coast from Pacific Beach straight to La Jolla
Yes - we have a variety of sites offering tent camping.
Yep it's at the marina - by the rental pwcs/bikes/surreys/etc you'll see the other boats - boat wash available also - it's to the west of Campland's private beach! Enjoy your stay! If you have a dog-I consider the dog park heaven-the view of the bay is gorgeous & it's so relaxing there, even if you don't have a dog go visit it anyways!
Are you asking about a campsite?
Yes
Yes they have sinks by the bathrooms for washing dishes. They even have hot water.
Yes we have on site propane that you can fill your RV or individual tanks, or we also have propane tanks for barbecues available in the market
Actually a pretty strange question, I think they prefer the lawn or a nice sturdy fire hydrant
Doubtful, all holidays are usually booked!
I pay around a thousand. There are some months that are more or less due to strange county taxes. Instead of trying to fathom it I am just always prepared. I live in a standard spot witbout any ocean view, my rv is 28 feet and we can still park our 2 cars in our space. Ocean views and deluxe spots cost more. All the spaces are good sized but not equal. We are always so happy to be hanging our hat in such a wonderful place!🌴🤙🏻🍀😍 During the summer months there is no monthly rate so my rent tripled at the daily rate. Beware and always reserve if possible. Welcome future neighbor! 🦉🥁🤙🏻🌴😎
Cant stay in a tent as a monthly guest. (Winter or summer.) During the winter, you can stay monthly only in an RV, a trailer, or a camper. Not in a tent. Its ok to stay in a tent, just not as a monthly guest.
Depends on how comfortable you want to be. And availability
Yes there is propane there by the dodge ball courts. Also some vendors drive thru periodically to fill people up right at their campsite.
Yes and your mail can be picked up in administration office and on Saturdays at the registration department
I don't think they offer it any longer
We set up a 6 man tent in a primitive spot . There was 6 of us , $80 a day. Next to a bath room
Not during summer peak months. When winter rolls back around, u shouldn't have a problem receiving a first responders discount.
You can "live" there September thru May, 9mths. If you choose to stay Memorial through Abor Day you have to make a new reservation, if one is available, and pay the higher rate.
The park has beach access but not directly from a rv spot. Most spots are just a 5 minute walk to the beach Now this beach access is in the harbor and not open water. They also have a marina and a swim out platform.
Yes I stayed for two nights and saw some people stay longer
Best to call the park and ask for extended stay or full time rates.
Most likely indoor areas will require a mask. Outdoor areas wont.
You can launch your boat yes .
You do have to call to make reservations. Do it asap.
Yes pool open
There is price card available on Campland website for different seasons. Please find the link below : https://www.campland.com/camping-rates/
Depends on the type of site, the dates, and length of your stay. If you go on the website, you can see nightly rates. Or call for monthly (but monthly is around $1000+/month).
The Cantina is open, but it's take out only. The sites are first come, first get, but by reservation only.
Yes, if there is a location or area specific to your trip
you would need to visit their website for that type of question...
Hi, no we don’t count cats. Thank you for asking.
From what iv seen there are a bunch of RVs located around the park but I have seen tents pitch around there campsites anyways the came rentals will arrange from 345$ to 500$ extended I am not sure if that applies to RVs only of the visit enjoy!
Sorry, I can't help with that. I would suggest you call the camp grounds.
A little girl's graduation from college was their how to watch it on TV screen but she got to do her spin put the tassel on the other side and throw her hat she graduated from UCSD we had a great time there
You'd be better off buying a tent somewhere like Walmart than buying or renting a tent at Campland, the price hike for that would be pretty high.
Here is a link to our Sumer and winter rates. http://www.campland.com/reservations/rates
Hetty life is leget
It is about 130 dollars.
You got to reserve
Hi, We are experiencing a high volume of calls we at this time, mornings on Sunday is always best. Yes the beach is back open, we ask that people maintain social distancing, the pool is due to open on Friday. All of our Recreation activities and bands are still canceled at this time. Please keep an eye on our website www.campland.com we will keep it updated as restrictions are lifted.
Sites K1 through 20 are pull through these sites be sufficient for 40' and sites I 39 through 47 prices are from $250 to $150 a night
Just group activities cancelled, take out only from cantina. Lots of TP there! Haha
Yes, please contact our dock master and storage 858-581-4224
https://www.campland.com/extra-fees/
I believe some people live there full time but I don't think they do storage
Likely not, the spots are reserved for a time not permanent.
Varies by season. Call to confirm.
Shooting up in plain site? Never seen that! Come to think about it, haven't seen any drug related illegal activities at any time, so I'll say NO to the ?
AFAIK, no. But, if there were, I don't know that anything would be different. The park has rules that are enforced, and the park is very clean.
No but you can rent RVs and they'll even drop them off, set them up, and pick them up when you're done!
As long as you give them 48 hours after registration you should be able to get money back.
You have to bring your own grill all sites have a picnic table
Hi, yes we have Jet rentals, and most anything else you would like to do on the water!
Weekends seem to be the busiest. Each spot has full hook-ups including tank empty service, electrical and Cable TV
$70/night
I believe for a trailer its like 160$ with sewer, electric n water hookups.. But different prices depending on what your needs are and what areas you want.
Weeknights are less than weekend and holiday. Different areas have different prices. Sites go up a few dollars each year.
There are several bathrooms with showers through out the campground. There is also a store, restaurants, game room, cantina, two pools and hot tubs. It's like a little city all in itself.
Call the office. Each season is different.
No cabins but all the travel trailer companies will place a unit on your site and hook it up.
I believe the longest stay is 28 days. After 28 days you need to vacate for 24 hours.
They have hourly and daily rates. You should call tho get current prices.
Not sure about open hours. There is a lot of traffic on the streets. Cars, motor homes and lots of kids. Can get a little dangerous if not supervised!
Our recreation staff has events going on all day everyday for our guests, here is a link to the daily events calendar https://www.campland.com/downloadable-activities-calendar-2
Go to their website for accurate pricing.
There is a 10.00 vehicle fee per day for visitors. There may be an extra animal fee.
Hi Addy, yes, we welcome service animals. Please just kindly inform our staff when asked, unless it is wearing a service vest and our rangers might not even ask. Thank you

Aleays contact them for the roght price. Prices changes from season to season
I'd say it would be worth a shot to call and see. It's a huge RV park, so I'd say it's a pretty good chance there will be something available, depending on the size of your rig. Good luck!!
Mine is about as tiny as they come I've been in it for 8yrs
Yes, they do, call office for more info
Absolutely! Our 5th wheel is 40' long with 3 slide outs and a party deck. Call the people up front in the kiosk and tell them what you've got so they can recommend the perfect spot for you.
No, but we do have full hook ups at most campsites and 2 dump stations in the park for your convenience
You can call or do it online I recommend calling so you can get 3 spaces next to each other
They can handle any size rig but best to call ahead as they're often well booked
In the park we require a leash at all times, unfortunately dogs are not allowed on the beach. Campland has 2 off leash dog walks at each Side of the Resort and 1 nice sized off leash dog park. There are 2 places close to Campland that you can take your dogs to, at Fiesta Island the play in the bay and in Ocean Beach, Dog Beach they cay play in ocean waves.
Yes you may bring your cat
Check out their website for availability and prices. Off season is definitely less expensive. Great place for family reunions.
Yes its year round but I don't know the monthly rates they have a great website tho
No but we allow rv rental companies to deliver trailers and rvs to your site
You add in your rig info and what set up you want online. Then it will tell you what sites are available.
Yes! There are a few that can handle that size
5 star hotel across the street. Same price and they make the bed with continental breakfast
Yes
The pricing varies ..here is the number and website to get more info 1 800 4 BAY FUN campland.com
Yes there are pull through spaces for your type of trailer. As well as small class c motor homes
Now sure about Senior discounts. But the earlier you make your reservation the cheaper it is. Last minute reservation are way higher. Depends on if the park is full with reservations and you might have to move to another site.
Yes, but they cannot be extremely loud, and sorry no ATV’s
Yes there are at certain sites !
The earlier you book and pay for your campsite the cheaper it is. There are different prices but really worth it.
There is bingo. It's put on by the facility staff. Check the monthly event calendar for scheduled times. You can win things like free ice cream, a free night stay, etc. Good times!
No idea. Sorry 😟
The prices vary depending on the season (summer is peak season), current capacity, site location, and hookups. There are extra charges for number of people too. The current rates are on the website.
Hi Ryan, our WiFi good for searching the web and doing social media and light streaming but not great for doing heavy downloads. we have a good hot spot at the Cantina and around the fountain if you are having connectivity issues at your campsite.
We're there yearly - check in is posted at 3pm but they start about 2pm - this year the check in line on Sunday was taking so long those of us with guaranteed sites ($25 extra) were told to go set up camp & stop back by to check in before 730pm which was great! Reservations are paid for fully when made & they dont take any payments in office after 8pm for add ons. I think no Saturday is for summertime only. Check out time is a firm 12noon - they used to let you buy a late check out for 2pm but had to end that a couple summers ago, but could be available in the "off" season still.
At least call ahead. If it's a holiday or big weekend, make reservations well ahead.
Good question. They do infact have bike rentals but I don't know how much. The bikes are tandem and you can rent them at the Miranda
They Have 50amp hook ups
Always open summer is best time all the fire works at seaworld you get to see how awsome they are!!!🤗
They are not, you get a game card then load it with money. Typical arcade game pricing.
It should be on our web site now
I'd say a year out
Depends. They do have a website you can check their rates on. During summer months it's more expensive
Yes. We did. But, I made my reservation over the telephone. They were very helpful in finding a site that could accommodate the sizes of our RV and tent.
Call and ask
No our showers and bathrooms are open 24hs for our guests convenience
So if u have a friend camping you can pay to go in?
They have a 10% discount for active military with valid military ID they do not offer veterans discounts
Campland is one of my favorites to take my friend's that like to stay in my RV they love it here!
They have primitive sights, with no hook up and 3/4 sights have no sewer, 75% have electricity and water. I hope that was helpful.
Negative. Try the clairemont exit boat launch. I'd just go to fiesta Island.
Yes, but I would make reservations over the telephone. They can help you find a site that will accommodate your RV and a place for the tent.
No, you would have to have a spot reserved
Depends on the size of your tent. We have a 32 ft. RV with room to spare.
No
Hi, we have a great Cantina you are welcome to come and enjoy, but that would not include the pools or other facilities. Parking is limited and there may be a fee for walking in and for parking.
$59-$69/ night for 1-4 people (4 persons, 1 dog, and 1 car max in tent camping)
We are an RV and Tent Campground
Hi, your site fees include 4 people and 2 cars or 1 car and 1 RV per campsite you may have 4 additional people that’s 8 total for an extra fee Per person

You can come to visit your friend on his boat there may be parking fees. the cantina is open to the public but there may be parking fees.
The live music events are for our campers only and are free to our guests, the band will be starting at 8pm tonight and Saturday
Yes you can normally park at your campsite, there is additional parking available if you need more room. The resort is right on Mission Bay so the water access is close to all sites within a 5min walk from the farthest point.
Absolutely! I would reserve online prior or call their number so you can reserve your spot. I believe they charge a one time fee of $25 the pick a spot. If not, it's first come first serve.
These are going to be the hours at the Cantina , Friday11AM–8PM Saturday8AM–9PM Sunday8AM–8PM
Smoking is permitted, just be responsible
Best things to call but i think there is also spots in the bay you can anchorage but mariners point
Temporarily down... If it doesn't work by tomorrow go ahead and call their local reservation number and be patient and you can book as much as two years in advance. You also can go online and view a map of the entire Campground so you can get an idea of where availabilities may be.
Costco is more like twenty minutes away. Their is a Ralphs about 20 minutes away in Pacific Beach. No other actual grocery stores close by. Just Liquor and Convenience stores. The small store onsite is pretty expensive.
If you like to walk long distances!

Nothere is a fire ring at every site but you have to bring your own portable bbq
Yes. Only if your site is on dirt, and you have enough space. Tents are not allowed on the grass.
We paid 190 for the rv spot near the grass field. (Thur-Sun) There wasn't any hookups or anything but the campsite was right near very clean showers. This was the week of Halloween 2017
Yes, but you have to pay for the space. Call and ask for the rates.
Rent starts around $900 and goes up yo like $1,500 i believe depending the site/view... Monthly rates are only September (after labor day) thru june...but you can only stay 9 months total and you must completly vacate for 24 hours every 90 days...
Not sure, call and ask.
Best place to get the answers you need is at Campland.
