Spooky Action At A Distance (Quantum Human)
9/25/2022 Amazing response. Based on the last excuse TH&R gave for dumping me as a patient I guess they lose money on every client. A weird business when you lose money treating patients you need to simply be in business. Unless you're implying i don't pay my bills, which is absolutely untrue. Clearly you make transparent excuses to abandoned a patient by claiming you are somehow losing money as an excuse for abandoning a patient's treatment. Shameful. Are you capable of feeling shame? What's your next disingenuous excuse for abandoning a patient doing to be? Perhaps I should explore whether abandoning a patient had legal ramifications? 8/31/2022 The glow has faded. While perfectly capable of providing appropriate treatment of injuries and atrophy TH&R are not well equipped to deal with progressive, debilitating, incurable disease (in my case, Parkinson's disease). Where most people can have some sort of a resolution of treatment where one can reasonably recover a predictable level of function and eventually be able stop ongoing treatment, TH&R has difficulty grasping that for a disease like Parkinson's there is no resolution. I will always get worse. All I can hope to do is slow down the process of loss of function and worsening of stabiliy. Parkinson's disease is a progressive disorder that affects the nervous system and the parts of the body controlled by the nerves. Treatment fit Parkinson's is ongoing and extremely long term. In fact,p It's typical for a Parkinson's patient to require physical therapy several times a week for the rest of the patient's life. Even a relatively short pause in treatment impacts a Parkinson's patient profoundly. While TH&R staff are wonderful people, they have difficulty grasping the concepts regarding the treatment of Parkinson's. My physical therapist, Heidi, is a caring, compassionate therapist She has gone out of her way to seek out Parkinson's information and learn new techniques to address the ever changing nature of Parkinson's symptoms. But, none of the other therapists know about Parkinson's. This has lead to impactful, significant pauses in treatment when she's on vacation or temporarily assigned to a different location. No provision has been made to provide treatment contunuity. I feel abandoned. I am abandoned. Any pause in treatment is a setback and I may not be able to (probably won't) recover lost function. Heidi knows this, but the rest of the staff simply does not understand that I can't just stop treatment. That isn't how it works far Parkinson's patients. I know there are other therapists in the area, some with more significant Parkinson's training. I probably would be better treated at a facility that specializes in Parkinson's treatment. And where there are enough therapists knowledgeable about Parkinson's. But, convenience is a big factor as I can not drive and other available transportation is not workable. It would be physically intolerable and counterproductive for me to take several hours out of my day three times a week for a one hour therapy session. Anyone who's used public transportation in Delaware knows what a logistical nightmare it is. And, non-emergency medical transportation is unrealistic and unreliable. I wish I could find a better solution. ----------- 5/15/2022 The staff is friendly and well trained. They provide free pick up and return for those without other travel options.

You can tell that Gregg and his team have been doing this a long time. They’re very easy to work with and helped me fully understand my injury and path to recovery.

We have a full parking lot and handicap parking. Around the left side of the building there is a handicap ramp to enter the building. We have wheelchairs and walkers to assist if needed.
We take all Auto Accidents, Workers Comp and Personal Injury cases. Also, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross, Aetna, etc.. We do provide cash plans. We take most medical health insurance, but every plan is different, so we suggest you call the office to check your plan. 302-477-0800.
Every patient and condition is different. Typically, the first session last just over one hour. Following sessions should be between 45-60 minutes. Most likely your doctor will prescribe 2-3 visits a week to start and lessen as your progress increases and your pain decreases.
