I must say that my experience with John and Vanessa prior to my wedding date was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL! From first calling John,back in March until the day I picked up my Tux,EVERYTHING was spot on! Myself,The best man,and 2 groomsmen got our tuxes from here and we all was “dressed to the nines”! The color schemes I choose,John provided.When I asked for advice on certain colors,accessories etc.John gave me he honest professional opinion.And I always felt it was never about him making a quick buck,but making sure I was squared away.And looking sharp for my wedding.It’s easy to tell this is John’s passion! And the crew he has with him shares the same ideals!I give this place of business 5 ⭐️’s if I could do 10 I would.Funny thing is a co-worker of mines referred me to John.And I’ll be referring people as well.Thanks John!

John is the definition of class. Walked in after checking out several different tux locations and I knew within 5 minutes that I had to go with John if I wanted perfection for my wedding day. He was extremely patient as my groomsmen and I were indecisive and he ultimately helped us find the perfect style. He’s the type of guy that can take one look at you, head to the back and come out with a suit that fits your body like you were meant to wear that suit. If you’re not heading to the tux club for you’re next tux then I feel really bad for you, every man needs to experience this atmosphere at least once.

I’ve been coming to this place for 20 years now. I’ve seen many tuxedo companies come and go, but Gentlemens Tux Club has ALWAYS been here... for me and the entire San Diego community. I never write reviews, but this one is worth my time. Yesterday at 11am I realized I had a black tie event to attend at 6pm. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of digging out my tuxedo from my closet so I called this place up (again) and asked if they could have something ready for me same day. By 11:30am I was in their shop getting measured. By 12pm I walked out of their with a full tuxedo outfit! They hooked me up with everything that I needed and I had the rest of my day to relax and ease my way into the black tie event. Not only did I get compliments on my tuxedo but everyone wanted to know where I bought it. Little did they know it was just a rental!!!! The owner of this place is John and his staff is amazing. Thanks to them I looked amazing! Thanks to them I felt amazing!!!

This tux shop is a procrastinator's dream. With quick same day service and sharp eye for sizes, John quickly had me in a gorgeous suit. To come in and get a show stopping suit like this within the hour are what dreams are made of. I'm ADHD and I do everything last minute and I get frustrated with myself every time and the fact that he was able to accommodate me so easily put my mind at ease.
