If you’re looking for a nice place for a relative or someone you know, this won’t be it. This place is dirty. The kitchen alone is breaking all sorts of health regulations/laws. It’s filthy and the employees are not held responsible for the conditions. Absolutely disgusting. Also, they constantly run out of food for their residents. Residents are paying upwards of $3,000 a month and most nights run out of food for at LEAST 5-10 residents. Well, they actually have more food, but they will say they ran out. If you truly care about your loved one, stay away. I recommend The Ackerly Sherwood. They’re lovely with a wonderful staff and CLEAN facility,

My mom moved in to King City Senior Village during the summer of 2020. The staff and residents create a warm community, welcoming to everyone. Residents are able to play bridge, visit and have meals together at a safe distance. The food is good, building is clean and well looked after. I thoroughly enjoy the residents garden. I highly recommend the community for yourself or someone you love.

My Aunt was a resident here for several years. I can't say enough about the place...friendly residents and a caring staff. When the GM rolls up his sleeves and helps you carry furniture out during the move you know there is deep commitment. We will miss King City.

A hidden gem for sure, our neighbors dad lives here and she encouraged us to check it out. Since we have been to many different homes for seniors, we added this one and we were really impressed with this facility, it is really clean, well maintained and the people there look alive and well! I had gone in prior to our appointment at lunch time and noticed the dining room was full, people were happy and the staff was busy making them all happy. Was a great first impression. So we made the appointment to have a walk through. Second walk through, was wonderful. We were welcomed by staff when we came in, our appointment was on time, J.J was informative and fun, and kind, and just all around great! You can tell he truly loves what he is doing and puts caring for seniors first, and that was important to us. They are not just a “number” at his place. He took us around the building showing us all the amenities they have, library, movie theater, pool table gathering area, a beautiful garden where the people can have their own gardens. I loved the way he interacted with the people that lived there and also his employees, everyone was happy, he showed us he really cares about everyone. As he was showing us rooms he would be stopped by folks that lived there and would engage with them, joking with them or being serious with them, either way he made them feel important. Didn’t blow them off by saying stuff like, oh I am busy showing people around right now I will get back to you in a minute, he excused himself to us, and took care of their needs. That was important to us, we want that in a person who is caring for our family. He is a hands on guy, not afraid to help out with anything around the place, we saw he really takes pride and ownership in the place. I think our father in law is going to love living here.
