First stay at Lake Shasta and we stayed at this campground. We had a great spot. Very quiet. This was one of the cleaner campgrounds we’ve visited and the grounds were kept up. Bathrooms were cleaned well and regularly. Super friendly staff (thank you Anthony). Wifi was really spotty and non existent at times but honestly we went camping to unplug.

I called to make a reservation for June 17 the person I spoke to said no need to reserve we have plenty of space we hung up and I thought maybe I should call back and see if there’s any way I can reserve since I’m driving 5 hours to get there. I called back 5 minutes later and spoke to the same person and explain why I would rather make a reservation she said let me check if we have anything available 2 seconds later she said sorry we’re completely booked for that week I then said I just spoke to you 5 minutes ago and you said you had plenty of room for that week! And she just hung up on me. Horrible costumer service can’t believe this is a family own camp site!

We stayed here in July 2019 for 5 days. We rented one of the cabins. The place was clean and the bed comfortable. The AC was very cold. We also rented a boat slip, a short walk from the resort. Some of the reviews made us a little hesitant to stay her, but we had no issues. The pool seemed clean ( we didn't use it). The garbage was changed regularly. Yes there was a train, but no horn, you would just hear it rumbling through. For campers, the spaces are a little close, but it seems to be that way at the other resorts down the road as well. We would stay here again.

No laundry room no store no ice showers are disgusting and bathrooms are horrid unless u call the camp hosts house and the elderly lady is so super rude about everything. Skunks everywhere totally tagged one with a beer can and it still just kept eating trash. They'll walk right up to your vehicle no fear at all. Asked the camp hosts to do something she was oblivious to keeping her guests happy whatsoever. Wow just a crappy experience all together. Spend the extra buck get what u pay for this place is a joke.

How do you reserve a camp site? Need one for a trailer. It's a long drive and fuel is expensive. No one answers the phone

The lady who runs the office is very elderly and hard of hearing. She does her best to keep up with the phones. Keep trying. There's also a public campsite right across the street you can reserve online. No electricity or cell service at the public campground, but it's beautiful.

We didn't see any tent campers in the tent section. Only RVs in the park. It was $44 a night plus tax.
