Awesome campground. Our site was clean and a good size. Bathrooms were very clean & running water was easily assessable. The stars at night was beautiful. Lake is sooo low, no access from the campground.. However... Just a short drive to get to the lake.. from this campground you can get to many water destinations withing 45 min drive or leas. Including going to see the Shasta Caverns.. which is a must. Nighttime was quiet & we stayed from saturday through tuesday

Beautiful little campground right on the shore of Lake Shasta. All campsites had nice, level, paved pads. There was one drive through site a number of double sites. Most sites were large enough to accommodate decent sized RVs or trailers. Clean restrooms with flush toilets. The only reason I rated it down one star was the area itself, outside of the campground, was a bit run down and we may have been a little hesitant to leave much out at the campsite if we were going to be away from it for an extended period.

Train runs through multiple times a day. We rented a yurt and one of the beds was broken. Bathrooms are flush toilets wich is nice but whoever supposedly "sanitizes" them daily didnt clean the floor once the 4 days we were there. Smelled like a porta potty from all the urine around the toilet.

It was our first time camping. There were a lot of campers in the camp ground. The toilet is clean. The camp host is nice and he is also an Oaklander! The lake is not safe to take the kids from our end. It’s too deep and water is always troubled from the boats. Not a clean water to deep into.

Laura I'm really not sure I just can't their last summer in a tent site but I'm sure they probably do have a space available this time of year. Good luck and happy holidays. Wade Sorry for the late response I just got this message
Yes you are getting a lot of smoke
Not far, there are trees in between the sites and the lake. We stayed in one of the yurts and there was a path down to the water.
