This was a pretty sub par experience. We thought we got one of the best in the fleet that they had offered. Pictures online looked clean, fresh and working. We paid over 7k for our boat for the family trip. Listen I love to camp but wow. This was messed up from the start. Hot tub never worked at all. Total trash and honestly filthy. The fridge was working only half the time so we lost tons of money on food we prepped. The fans in the rooms all had been broken so we melted at night because the generator wouldn't charge the 20 year old batteries. Gauges didn't work well and on and on. It cause enough stress that it made the trip a total bummer. They are dirty and obviously flipped around as fast as possible. Don't let the on-line pics judge your trip. Before you leave the shore ask about these things because they stopped caring years ago.

With the conditions of the Lake Shasta lake and Marina's being so rough on everyone... Nick, Hunter and Danielle were amazing. Had some rough moments, parking, launching, party barge issues but with their kindness and support saved our trip. We will return, when the water does!

We had a really great experience this past weekend renting the Genesis houseboat for a group of friends, to celebrate a birthday. I read many reviews on items to bring and we were definitley overprepared. We sprayed for bedbugs (just in case) and we anticipated a lot of things breaking, only had one small toliet challenge that happened on our last night. The staff at Antler's is friendly and accomodating. They help you in and out of the boat with ease and their barge system to load your boat is a LIFESAVER. I would not go houseboating without this system, it would ruin the trip to have to carry coolers and gear up and down from the dock<> your car. For those complaining about the condition of the boat, I would suggest renting their higher-end boats for a better experience. Our Genesis seemed to work nicely and our A/C was pumping the entire time (thank goodness, we had to beat off the 106 degree afternoons).
