The high rated reviews about this place were written by employees of this care center, and their praise is not true. The whole time Grams has been living at P. Gardens I've seen and heard bad treatment of the residents and I wish I could bring Grams home with me. Also has anyone else been visited by a district attorney investigator about the residents being abused and injured at this place? I told the guy about regularly finding bruises on Gram's thigh, arms, back, chest, neck, and face and how much weight she's lost and how they do not bathe her or change her clothes and sent my mobile photos of Gram and stuff I saw at the center that was inappropriate and just plain wrong. I told him about lies that the manager and staff tell me. So bottom line I do not recommend this place.

My husband has been at Pacific Gardens for almost a year now. Lately, there's been a huge shift there. If I have any questions or concerns, I get a response right away. We finally had a care consultation. There are more staff, and they are interacting more with the residents. There are activities that families are invited to and people seem happy. I'm really glad he's in a place that will take care of him. This place truly has turned around!

Authorities of several government and medical investigative agencies recently worked in conjunction and determined that residents of this facility were egregiously abused in every possible way and some even succumbed from the abuse soon thereafter being struck and so forth. Employees from the top down were fired and permanently lost their credentials and licenses. "Caregivers" and support "nurses" are not certified or bonded or trained and are overworked. It would take years to bring this facility to an acceptable level of care but we have learned that this company won't be able to recover from the aftermath's bad publicity. This review is necessary to steer families away so they will not feel the pain that we feel since our mom sustained terrible blows and received no medical attention for the injuries caused and died before her time_ killed on this facility's watch. We will never forgive ourselves for placing Mom in this "care" center.

We moved my great aunt in at pacific gardens at the beginning of this year, and we are SO grateful to have found a place that honors her care, her needs, and makes her smile. The staff are patient, and the administrator took the time to listen to our concerns. We wish we could have her at home with us, but due to our schedules it’s just not possible. We took a lot of time to find a place that felt like family for her and we believe we’ve found it. She’s doing much better here than we could have imagined.
