We have shopped Everyday Deals (multiple locations) for about 4 years. A paradise for bargain hunters, but they have a rotating stock so don't bank on finding a certain item. Check expiration dates on things you care about. We save a LOT on breakfast cereal, snack items, and baking mixes. A great way to sample gourmet foods at a discount!

You can find cool stuff here sometimes... But you'll pass by lots of iffy stuff on your way. Some of the clientele... Can be somewhere between "need stronger meds" and "should keep at the funny farm" but that's not the store's fault. I'd definitely suggest it if you're on a tight budget. We mostly go for entertainment shopping: "Oooh Lithuanian cookies!", "I didn't know that came in 5 gallon buckets!", "Indonesian soup? Stew? Breakfast?" So if you want either cheap or exotic food check them out.

Went here after 2 years and I was pleasantly impressed. I asked around and yes...they have a new owner. The selection of merchandise was really good. So good that you can't complain of the prices that went up a bit, but then again everything went up and $1.00 of gas doesn't get you even out of the driveway anymore.

There’s pro and cons to every shop and organization but I’m not sure that the pros out weigh the cons anymore here. Pros: -New owners have definitely made shopping inside easier -Hired more staff Cons: -Prices have skyrocketed to market value for certain items - They canceled the discount cards that held customer retention from previous owners -You can no longer use the empty boxes for grocery bags after check out - Fruits and veggies are still touch and go with mold Overall: Although you can still catch a bargain for some items (mostly canned goods), you just have to be way more attentive with prices and compare them to market value due to new ownership up-charges. Kinda a bummer and honestly may just go to Grocery Outlet and Winco for a majority of my shopping outside of snacks.

Best Buy dates are just a guess at best flavor, keeps manufacturing working and everyone employed. FDA/USDA says 5 years on canned food and food mixes, watch for peanuts and fats. Love these stores, I save $1,000.00s there.
Nope been to every store a few times. Never seen one there. But I have seen people who live in the area with them.
Discounts plus sells rotten food, and none of the major grocery stores have seat belts in shopping carts you're not supposed to leave your child unattended whilst in the cart anyway.... Sounds like you don't even have kids... based on your comments anyway.
They might. Just go get an application
I'll second that they change out items frequently... and I'll add that Tuesdays are Russian products day. Expect crowds of slavic people.
