Immediately walking in the room, there is a cigarette burn in the bed comforter. Spilled juice on the table, dirty floors, and under the lampshade, BLOOD SPECKS EVERYWHERE, indicator of BED BUGS. Pulled back the blanket to see a gross, plastic, mattress cover, and still a bug jumped out from there the second I looked. I went straight to the front desk to ask for a refund because we were not comfortable to stay there. They said yes, that I’d get a full refund in 5-10 business days. After 10 days passed without a refund I called back, they said it takes 30 days, so after 30 days went by I called 3-4 times, every time being told I’d get a return phone call when the manager was in(never had a return call), finally reaching the manager 60days after the initial check in, she said she was only able to give me a 25% refund. I told her this was not accurate, as I wasn’t told this initially. She said she doesn’t have authority to refund anything over 25%. So now I have to try to call back and catch the person over her… “Zill Patel” sounds like a foreigner who is here to rip off people and spread bugs and diseases. DO NOT STAY HERE, unless you don’t care about your health or wellbeing and want to support a low life, terrible run business, that can’t treat people the way their suppose to be treated.

This place really needs a face lift. Our room had a torn bed skirt, rusted microwave oven, peeling ceiling in bathroom, stained bathroom tub, and a shower curtain rod about to come off the wall. The window drapes smelled of dust and old nicotine, and the air conditioner probably had a filter that had not been replaced in a long time with musty smell. I only give it two stars for location, which is great for access to the National seashore.

You can tell as soon as you enter the lobby that there's improvements being made. Much more inviting atmosphere than our previous stay a few years ago. Our room was clean and comfortable. Tammy was amazing! We even stayed an extra night! The staff genuinely cares about your stay on the island and does whatever they can to make your stay comfortable. Thanks again, Tammy! Hope to see you next time!

Nice stay at the Days Inn. It was the least expensive hotel we looked at and it was right off the entrance/exit of Assateague Beach. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The hotel rooms are a little dated and the beds a little hard for my liking but not too bad. The lobby and breakfast area is small but doable. The pool was clean and there is a large screened party area with grills on the property for families to gather. The Hotel manager Tammy is friendly and also on site. I would stay again and recommend to all traveling on a budget.
