Great location, friendly staff, clean hotel. Definitely worth it for a preferred suite with amazing views of the bridge. Big breakfast area, plenty of seats and 2 waffle stations. Cereal and bagels, muffins also available along with coffee, tea and juice. I would definitely stay here again, several places to eat within walking distance with many more a short drive away. Short drive to the Wildlife Refuge & Beach area and the marina.

Staff was friendly, rooms were spacious with great views, balcony is nice overlooking the pools and bay. Parking is plentiful and easy walking distance to shops and many restaurants. Outdoor pool looked nice although we didn't use it. We did enjoy the indoor pool (heated some but still pretty cool) and a nice indoor hot tub. Nice boardwalk by the bay right out back of the hotel but warning, no rope for safety or anything. Check in at 4pm and standard checkout at 11am. They also serve breakfast until 11am which is great if you're trying to sleep in. Multiple restaurants on the island that deliver. Only thing I'd add to this hotel is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand from the beach (beach shower area had hardly any water pressure)

Great location, within walking distance to many excellent restaurants, a park and shops. Amenities were outstanding, grounds and buildings were excellently maintained. All staff were helpful and incredibly friendly. Parking was convenient to buildings and not over crowded. Security to buildings was exemplary. We will return. I wish the balconies were screened in. Bugs are just a fact of life for this great location.

Big Daddy

My wife and I stayed here for three nights 12/22 - 12/25. We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel was clean even though they are short staffed. The breakfast was good also. It was the usual hotel breakfast,waffles,eggs,sausage. Everything was kept neat and clean in the dining area also. The staff were all kind and polite everytime we talked with anyone. Thank you to everyone at Comfort Suites Chincoteague for making our stay enjoyable and for all of your hard work. I recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be back.
