Comfortable and clean, couldn't ask for much more. The views are amazing at night and you're within walking distance of many places to eat and shop.

Island Motor Inn is a nice place with a great view. It's not as expensive as other hotels in the area. There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, an exercise area, and a great view of the water. Breakfast is included. Will stay here again.

I have a musculoskeletal disease that makes it difficult anx painful to walk. I explained this to the person I made reservations with.. I explained that I was coming for much needed recuperation and rest and that I would be spending most of my time in the hot tub, as it was the only reason I was coming. I was given a room on the 3rd floor due to its proximity to the hot tub. After we checked in, we went straight to the room to put on our bathing suits and I called the front desk to ask how to find it and they told me it didn't work. I explained that it was the only reason I was there and if it was not working, I should have been notified when it became inoperable, as I made it clear repeatedly when making my reservation that it was the only reason I was coming. My boyfriend said he didn't want it to ruin his Easter, so we stayed. The place is tacky and out dated and mediocre at very best. The next morning, which was Easter Sunday, I got up and wanted to go get a cup of coffee.  Everything everywhere says that the elevator cannot be used until 6:30 AM. This is dangerous for anyone with ambulatory issues, and should be illegal. So I tried to go downstairs every 15 minutes from 6:30 to 7:30 and the elevator was inoperable each time. I finally decided that in order to get to breakfast and have coffee I would have to take the stairs FROM THE THIRD FLOOR. I cannot explain to you how painful this experience was for me. When we returned from breakfast, there was a man standing at the front desk who rudely asked how we were, obvious that he couldn't possibly care less. I told him I was aggravated and he asked why.. I began explaining the situation after situation that were all completely unacceptable. As soon as I mentioned the hot tub, the man became menacing and belligerent and disrespectful and a bully. The poor woman at the counter seemed to be used to this man's abuse and helpless to stand up to him, as she knew what I was saying was legitimate. I wouldn't stay here again if it was the last place on earth. We paid $200 for one night for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BUT AGGRAVATION. We are surely due recompense.

This was an unplanned trip and had no reservations. We came here on a recommendation from one of the locals. The rooms are a little dated but by no means are they bad. They are very clean, beds were firm, and all have a water view. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, weight room. Property was well maintained and a great breakfast.
