Friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable beds, great breakfast. We are a family of four with two young kids and loved staying here for our first trip to Chincoteague. Every interaction with a staff member was positive. The selection at breakfast was great. So convenient to the beach and nearby eateries. The pool was also fantastic for the whole family and was never busy which was a lovely surprise. We stayed for four nights and the only *minor* critique was no housekeeping(Covid related concerns). I think hotels, in general, need to maintain a certain level of service regarding housekeeping without abusing Covid concerns as cover to save costs. Would absolutely stay here again though.

Well kept and clean. Made to be a beach hotel. Nice outdoor pool, balconies, and a nice sitting area out front. The location is PERFECT. The room was nice and the staff was very helpful. Hint, there is a rinse off shower out back.

We started coming here 20 years ago when it was privately owned and operated. It's situated close to the wild life refuge. It's quality and service had only gotten better (it was very good before). Easy walk to the refuge and catching the sights of marshes, birds, light house, sunrise and sunset.

Positive: The room was nice size and well maintained. Negative: Everything else. Required to take out your own trash and carry all linens to the front desk for clean ones. The locks on the doors are within child reach and not safe. Location is overrated. Breakfast had no options for those with dietary restrictions
