Trail by water is definitely for kids and easy going it’s all paved. The upper trail is more serious and all up hill almost 2.25 to too trail then loops down hill back for 2 miles, watch for snakes this is there territory for upper trail.

Pros: Free parking, 2 different hikes with one being fully paved, nice views of the Gorge, nice variety of wildflowers in the spring. Cons: Not really any shade on the non paved trail (we didn't hike the paved one so not sure about that trail), grass is all very dry by summer, nothing really special to see on the hike outside of maybe wildflowers and the gorge, but you can see that from a lot of places.

We come here a few times a year. Each season brings different plants to lifeπŸ’™

Large parking area. No toilets. Great ADA compatible path by the river. More difficult and non ADA compatible trail system on the north side with amazing geological features.
