Is the swimming area still very small? How strict are they about staying inside it? We were hoping to swim there for exercise purposes in the mornings or late afternoons when it is not crowded.

Very small and not very deep.

Very small. Mostly an area for kids to splash around in. You'd be disappointed trying to use it for exercise.
