The long holes were awesome. It puts variety in my golfing life, if you don't mind getting a bogey or ten. It's also nice that we don't have to contend with dog poo everywhere. I love dogs, but the owners are really contentious on this thread.

The good: Nice cement pads at each tee Restrooms and trash cans located throughout the course Has the feel of an actual golf course The bad: $5 parking Pets not allowed Long narrow challenging holes are frustrating unless you’re a great player Blackberry bushes, trees, creeks, tall grass will swallow your discs. I got pretty cut up retrieving my discs and saw several abandoned discs in the process Not a great amount of shade in the fairways Some tees are in odd locations and they’re not marked - glad I snapped a photo of the course map. With that said I appreciate having options such as this to be able to play, but there are several more easy and fun courses I’ll be playing at instead.

This is advice from an amateur to amateurs: This course is not for the faint of heart. There are a few holes that are just shy of 1000'. The blackberry bushes border many holes and can easy swallow disks. I recommend bringing a pair of shears just in case, extra discs in case your's gets lost, and lots of water to stay hydrated (the shade is limited in many places). You could easily split this course into two days and therefore, it might be a great occasion to bring a tent and camp out 😉.

Love the challenge of the long holes. Keep them straight and you'll do fine. Go OB and the strokes add up fast. Absolutely love this course.
