They try to have a country bar in a crazy part of Portland, and do a pretty dang good job. No pool table, no shuffle board, and no dart boards. 6 video poker machines... Staff is friendly, considering the area they're in. Julie & Gauge were awesome!!

Wow! Just Wow! Walk into the place I spent no less than 7 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. Finally got a beer went set down to drink it and came back for another. Didn't wait as long this time but still a few minutes. I noticed they had an outside patio so asked the waitress "Can I smoke outside?" to wit she said no sorry. I was like okay that's fine where might I set my beer where it would be safe while I was outside? Before she could answer the owner cut her off to tell me "And we aren't here to babysit your beer. I was floored, never been to this place and not only was the service underpar but to me it seems like it comes right from the top. Had 2 drinks and was happy to be out. Never been treated so poorly 1st time. In an establishment.

Overall not a bad experience. We walked in and seated our self. The server came over pretty quickly and brought us menus and got our drink orders. We asked for a drink menu and were told they dont have one and to just ask for what we were looking for and she would tell us if they had it or not. They could not make mimosas which wasn't a big deal. The menu had a good selection or burger types and I liked that you could substitute any burger patty for a chicken breast. I ordered the Mushroom bacon burger and asked what type of lettuce they use in their side salads, the server said she didn't know. My husband got a the french dip. Our food came pretty quickly. Both out buns were soaked and soggy, mine from the juices of the bacon and mayo and his seemed like the aju sauce had spilled in his tray. Even with his both items were really good and had nice flavor. I would come here again but it wouldnt be a my go to place or somewhere I would recommend.
