Can the kids go in the water? I have a 2 year old and we would like to check out the swimming area.

Children under 5 are not allowed to swim in the lake (ecoli problems). They have a great splash pad (best in metro) that runs from 11am to 7pm when temp is above 70 degrees (May 28 - Sept 2). This is where you want to take the kids. Its at the far end of the park, just keep to the right and keep going.
