It's great for kids. The actual cave doesn't have stairs. It is doable for kids.
It's quite child friendly. The cavern tour is self guided go at your own pace right now so you won't have to rush them. Other fun things for the kids too.
I just took my 4 and 8 year old girls. a little carrying involved but check out the garden maze...they loved it!!
