Gorgeous property! It was our first time to Valley Star but it won't be our last. We went on a mild and sunny day. The staff was kind and helpful and we enjoyed walking the property admiring all the trees. We got one concolor fir and one douglas fir. The trees looked healthy and well cared-for. The prices were very reasonable. We called someone to cut down and transport the trees and he did so within a few minutes. This will be our second Christmas in Virginia and we were hoping to find a spacious, peaceful tree farm that reminded us of the ones we went to while living in NJ. This one certainly did!

Such a sweet place to take your family! Real farm life! We went to pick pumpkins. They had wagons for the kids to ride in and carry pumpkins back in. It's a real pumkin patch. Christmas trees are growing too. We got some amazing family photos and also some photos to use for our church. The gentlemen working were very kind. :) God bless this farm!

This is a wonderful tree farm with a very large selection of medium sized trees, great prices, extremely friendly staff, a truly gorgeous view, and an all-around amazing experience for the whole family (dogs included). This has now become a yearly tradition for our family.

Nice people. You can either walk the 1/3 mile (if not more) to the actual pumpkin patch from the parking lot or pay $2 a person to ride the hay wagon. Paying a premium to pick your pumpkin is one thing; paying to go there is another.
