Do you know how long the road closure (going to the sun road) be?

I was there this week and it was still closed.

It opened up for July 4th. I am not sure of the current situation

I just returned from there and it was still closed. Didn't give an estimate for reopening.

It looked to us like they decided to start major repairs on it since the season was almost over, so I doubt it will be open until next spring, but I truly can't say for sure.

It's my understanding it may be closed for the year
